mine never looks like a circle after finishing a row. It looks kind of like a swirl if that makes sense... anyone have any idea what im doing wrong?

I am on row 6 and wondering why it isn't turning down more to become a hat. Am I right to do every other hole a 2 double crochets?

So you have to do one en then two and then one again and than two again and then keep this pattrn until your round

I was in the middle of doing my 13 for row 1, and there was some puffy, loose loops. So I look ahead to this vid and then I see you made the beautiful perfect circle... I think you pulled it really tight.

There is a video she made that is titled:How to Crochet a Hat : Crocheting a Hat: Finishing Row 1, nd yes, you do use a slip stich to close the circle. This lady is explaining thing very well, and with the yarn she is using, personally, i think it is easy to folo what she is demonstrating. If you don't understand, just rewind the video and watch the part you are confused on a few times. If she wen slow on every part of this video, it would become extremly annoying.
