  • i was so depressed and this clip put a smile on my face, thank you

  • Awesome video! You furkids are totally adorable! I have the same problem with the stove. I manage to block it now when their out, but that means I can't bake anything when the ferts are playing.

  • Thanks for sharing flicka01, your fur babies are adorable. This video made me smile. I wish I had 1/10th of their energy ! : )

  • @niccynoo101 This is the earlier video :) I made this video shortly after obtaining these 3 ferrets (right after my original gang had all passed away). After this video is extreme ferrets, then rocking ferrets, then ferrets boogie :)

  • What happened to the other guyszzz???!!!!

  • Love this imma get one!

  • THIS IS THE MOST CUTEST FERRET CLIP I HAVE EVER SEAN!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • Ok, so.."party" is code for "fight" right?

  • @veerleke Ferrets play wrestle similar to dogs and kittens. They have very tough skin and love to play constantly. When not bouncing around with each other they all pile into one hammock to sleep with each other despite the variety of hammocks available. :)

  • @fickla01 Need supercute hammockbunchpicture for proof ^^

  • @veerleke Its more of a spazztasticly cute little bounce than a fight lol

  • omg!! they making me nervous.. please get off from under the refrig!! they some cuties tho :-)

  • They look fantastic pets but do they really smell that bad??? ...Male ??? Femail ????????

  • WHO DAT FERRETS!!!!

  • true story, once, well yesterday i bought a ferret off a rescue centre when i took him home he was fine, didnt bite, liked the area, the next day i went downstairs to see how he was doing i opened the cage and he bit me, i asked someone else to pick him up and hey bit them. after loads of struggling we took him back :( i really want a ferret thats not like this.

  • ferrets are so funny animals :D

  • are they legal in dc

  • Hi fickla, i have a question, in the summer of 2009, my family and i bought 2 ferrets, but unfortunately one died in june 2010 aged barely 11 months. I've often thought our remaining ferret misses his brother, and was wondering how ferrets typically react to a new ferret coming in. Economically, it would be ideal if they could share a cage, but i don't know how territorial they can be. If you could share any of your experience regarding introducing new ferrets, that would be great, thanks :D

  • @olifen91 there is a bit of an adjustment period, but on average i would say it's about a week where you want to house them separate. Ferrets really enjoy the company of each other so I highly recommend getting him a friend. I answer your question more theory on my ferret faq:

    laurawaudby.blogspot.com/2010/05/ferret-faq.html

  • @olifen91 Thanks for the reply, now I have to persuade my parents!

  • Is it better to get a pair? I might be getting one (or two) soon!

  • hey dude can u send me a ferret plz replay.

  • hey dude can u send me a ferret plz replay

  • Lmao I laughed so hard at 3:03 - 3:08 When he was running on his little tippy toes (:

  • at the end the pharet is like " imma rest now, leave me be."

  • 3:23 Ferret- "MINE BED!!!"

  • - totally uplifting video! - really great - I think I'm going to get a second Ferret!!

    love the music!! :+)

  • I love my Ferrets!!

  • So how bad does your house stink... as if we'll get a realistic answer...lol

  • You have the partyinest business around!!

  • I love these guys! I wish they were legal where I live <3

  • Don't ferrets have a fear of dogs? When I went to the pet shop to claim a ferret the lady said "Make sure you do not get your ferret close to a dog otherwise they will go into a state of shock" is that true?

  • @LeaveStuffAlone Typically ferrets are fearless. This can actually get the in trouble with a lot of animals as they simply don't realize how small they are. Do be very careful when intoducing a ferret to a dog, and always supervise, but the majority of dogs out there get along with ferrets just fine.

  • @LeaveStuffAlone My young male Ferret plays with my female American Pit Bull Terrier .. the other two dogs are not really interested.

anyhow, Bullet (Ferret) & Macy-Gray (Pit Bull) just rip it up, and have a great time with each other. Their antics are amazing! - I'm going to U-Tube them soon.

  • What strange and funny little animals! Kinda like cats from another universe :^)

  • Your fuzzies are just too cute and remind me of my two lil crack head ferrets.

  • absolutely cute. my ferret morticia is about as hyper as all these guys put together...and seems to be in as many places at once as they are! lol cute video!

  • @TheMrBlinx why thank you for that harsh judgement based on 3.5min of video. Of course what you haven't noticed is that this video is 3yrs old and I have since made 3 more video of these 3 (shocking they are still alive!) and the 2 newer ones. And it was a drawer under the stove, not directly under the stove, and yes it was proofed so there is zero way they can get into the actual stove. Plus the fact that we simply never use the stove.

I hope you aren't this judgemental in real life.

  • @fickla01 Stoves have wires. Even gas stoves have an electrical cord. Many ferrets have managed to get into the hollow walls of stoves and burrow all the way up top through the insulation and get hold of wires and die.

  • @fickla01 Flickla, most people who are that judgemental online are actually afraid to leave their computers, go outside, socialize, and do other things involving human contact. Hes trying to be a badass behind a computer :)

  • @TheMrBlinx harsh

  • @ilovety65 Yes, it is harsh having to remove an innocent fried ferret from the controls of a stove.

  • @TheMrBlinx lol, lighten up,how many ferrets do you have?My son wants one ,but we have cats and a small dog.Not sure thy'd all get along

  • @ilovety65 Over the past 8 or so years, I've had seven. I currently have three. Four have died from tumors, but all were "used" ferrets (none died from accidents or have ever been injured). I currently have three cats. They get along okay with each other, but they are always supervised. One ferret likes to lick one cat's ears out when she'll let him, while another wants to remove their ears. One cat hates them, especially the white ones, one is so-so and one puts up with a lot from them.

  • @TheMrBlinx lol.....wow....wouldn't be that hard to check the drawer before starting the oven...cause doubt the STOVE would bother them way down their below the oven. We all understand the search for the ferrets and their favorite hiding places. Those ferrets were way healthy with a excellent loving enviroment, pretty easy to see that. Appears they arn't the owners here. I rescued a few ferrets from owners and if you saw that state you would have cried.

  • @nowthatsFS You don't read very well, do you? Go back and read what I said about ferrets burrowing up into the electrical control area and getting hold of an electric wire.

Mine come out to play anywhere from one to five times a day (usually 2), in one ferret safe room. There are no real unknown hiding places. My ferrets never see things that will kill them like washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, freezer, recliner, disposer unit, etc., etc.

  • @TheMrBlinx dude I love you and your attacks, such a loving person, wish I was one of your ferrets. You have kids? Are they still locked up in their padded rooms? Let's back track for a sec I understand your concern, in my oven/stove it would be impossible to get to the electrical section, yes impossible. Don't you think more ferrets die of malnutrition and poor care then accidental deaths? And arn't accidental deaths just due to poor supervision then the danger itself. Update your appliances.

  • @TheMrBlinx Goddammit, another pet video reels in another condescending armchair pet owner critic. You people are becoming a dime a dozen. Every damn pet video has one, and every one of them thinks they can create a dossier on a complete stranger's ability to own a pet based on very little.

  • @Aquahutch There are two kinds of ferret people: ferret owners and ferret lovers. Owners "say" they love their ferrets but don't; that can be easily seen by how callous they are with them, exposing them to all kinds of dangers and death. Ferret lovers wouldn't dream of letting them get on, around and into things and situations that will kill them. Now, you self righteous asshole, go to a site called "all-about-ferretsdotcom" and click on "ferret proofing" on the left and see how wrong you are.

  • @TheMrBlinx Whether or not you have a point doesn't matter anymore to other people at this stage: you act like a condescending asshole with a "higher-than-thou" stench coming in from a mile away. There is really simple proof of this: you acted on an OLD video that is incredibly short that you cannot dive into and REALLY check if you're right or not as if you were by default. Come back when you are able to acknowledge to yourself that yes, you are just as mortal and faulty as the rest of us.

  • That stench is your breath blowing back in your face. Remember, I SPOKE (not "acted", idiot) on BEHALF of ferrets. Apparently you are against taking care of animals and doing everything to keep them alive and happy. Apparently this "old" video is fresh enough for the original author to respond, so you are wrong again. People are stupid, as documented in the many tales of death listed at that site; someone must teach them. If left up to ignorant cowards like you, none would learn anything.

  • @TheMrBlinx Thank you for proving my point flawlessly: you make assumptions based on nothing. Thing is - I know about how to treat Ferrets. I even agree with you on proofing your house so nothing can happen to them. What I am scrutinizing is your METHOD: you act all high and mighty on empty presumptions, as you just prove AGAIN!

Well done! monkey want a cookie? Yessss you dooooo.

  • @TheMrBlinx Keep barking behind that screen door.

  • @TheMrBlinx Well someone has their undies in a knot.

  • I notice your ferrets are out a lot and was wondering what you do about the corners of your house? I used to let my ferrets have fun in my room since some parts of the house are dangerous, but they ONLY go in the corner where I open my door! I cant put a litter box in there since the door will move it if it opens, and that wouldnt matter cause my digging ferret digs through litter rather than pee or poop in it lol, i use newspaper in their cage but my young ferret rips it up! what should i do?

  • @4Dancingtrolls ferrets like going in corners and it is really hard to deter them if they find a favorite corner. You can try putting some bedding and fleeces in that corner, but a lot of ferrets will still go right on top of it. I mainly use newspapers around the house in multiple corners and a litter box in their cage. All of mine would tear up the newspapers if put in their cage out of boredom, but when out I haven't had that problem. Too much other stuff for them to do!

  • I love it at 1:45

  • im getting a DEW ferret male baby tomorrow :)))) so exciteddd

  • Ooooh did you get a look when you caught the ferret chewing on that rope in his hidey hole!! *hee hee* Your little dudes are so cute! And I loved how your dog just kind of sat there... taking it all in... "Can I play too?! Wait-- no, no... Um... Sniff?"

  • Could anyone tell me please if you have to watch them whenever they are outside the cage? I mean they seem fearless and may hurt themselves accidentally when stealing something big. And the second question: most of the times people have 2 or more and boys and girls together. Does everyone neuter their boy ferrets? I am against it and I was wondering how many times a year do girl ferrets have their periods? And if she gets pregnant what's next? It might become quite a hassle. Thanks.

  • @olesya999 I answer all of your questions on my ferret faq:

    laurawaudby.blogspot.com/2010/05/ferret-faq.html

even if you decide not to read it, PLEASE PLEASE spay any female. They will actually die if they come into heat and aren't bred. And if one gets pregnant it's more then just a hassle and is highly irresponsible.

  • @fickla01 Thank you for responding. I tried to enter the link that you gave me but it came up as a non-existing page. Lol. I am actually curious about anything that relates to these cute animals. But thanx for responding anyways. I was suspecting that dealing with ferrets didn't come easy.

  • @fickla01 Uh sorry false alarm. I finally opened the link. Thanx.

  • was it hard whith ur farrets and a dog. like i mean did youre dog every try to go at them? beacuse i want a farret rele bad, but i dont know how my dog would react

  • i hav been campaigning for 2 years to geet a ferret but my parents seem hesitent i know how much work the require but they sure do look like they like to play!:):):)

  • I had a dog once (about Goose's size) who was terrified of our ferrets. One time he literally jumped up onto the kitchen table to get away while they were playing together on the floor. Watching this makes me miss my old pets. Cute video. ^^

  • your dogs name is goose. thats epic

  • 0:51 Funny as hell!!!!

  • best weasel war dance video evar!!!

  • Wow theyre so cute and energetic. i can see why people walk them on a harness. All that energy has to go somewhere.

  • I have a ferret named Ozzy who is sitting right next to me. i am 10 years old and I love my little furry and I can never be mad at him if you give me your email address in my inbox i will give u a picture of him... Oh Dear he just felll down the chair!!! im sorry.... ewww he threw uppp i ammm sooo terribly sorry... Do you know anything that I could do to take care of him?

  • Duke duke duking duke dukeing all around...ha ha ha love em!

  • The dog is a little afraid of partying with the ferrets. He realizes he's so big he might accidentally hurt the little ones. :P

  • At the end ... Sunbathing ferret!

  • i love how the dog just stares at ferrets

  • i wander wat the afterparty is like lol

  • iv never had a ferret. but i really want one :) your ferrets look so happy:) its very nicee. and they are all so adorable :)

  • this is so cute!

  • Cute babies you have there. They r really hyper. I have 5 myself. They are a lot of work, cleaning all the time. But the love they give me and my family is worth it.

  • T_T if only sinapore sells ferret zzzzz . Cant keep them coz of stupid reasons

  • ur FERRETs ARE AWSOME how much do ferrets cost

  • The music is cool!! It blends in with the ferret's energies.

  • How can you not love Ferrets !?!?

  • Reminds me of my babe!

  • Ferrets jumping and bowing their backs up is called dooking. It's a dance that is instintual. Wild ferrets use it to confuse their prey. The Black Footed Ferret uses it against Groundhogs, rabbits and Jack Rabbits much larger animals. Tame ferrets do it when they are excited. Since they do not make loud noises nor can they. It's a Ferret Shout of YEEHAW let's Party. I've owned Dogs, Cat's, Birds, Pigs, Fish as pet's Ferrets are the best and easiest as long as you learn about them First..

  • which ones harder to take care of, cat or ferret? if ferret then are they hard to take care of?

  • @kennycantdie67 ferrets require a lot of work. While they may sleep 16hrs a day, they are crazy when they are awake. They steal everything, dig, may chew cords, and poop a lot. The biggest thing is while they can be mostly litter trained, they need to have boxes and/or newspaper in almost every corner of the house as a ferret won't go far if they have to go. I love them, but they are not the pet for everyone.

  • @fickla01 I have two ferrets, who have pooped in probably every corner of the 'ferret play room', and every time i think i've covered all the corners with a litter, they find somewhere new to poop! They're a pain in the arse sometimes, but you cannot be angry when their little faces look up at you!

  • @olifen91 yes that is so annoying!!! You can try putting some bedding in the corners you don't want them to poo, but one of mine will even go on that.

  • @fickla01 thats why my ferrets have diapers! it works..but every 30 minutes i have to change them, but they still poop in the corners. don't know how but they manage it

  • I have a fairly young white ferret named Loki, he's so awesome :)

  • he he lil party animals! :)

  • When the saints go marching in Is played in the backround

  • to bad you didnt have any videos with them making there happy noise lol i miss my babies thay passed :( love this video

  • I have two, Slick and Avalanche. Avalanche is white and Slick looks like Bjorn ALOT, especially at the end, my fat lazy ferret always lays on his back lol. I love my babies♥ I wish I could give them this much space to run around but they shit everywhere and tear up the carpet :(

  • haha my names molly

  • Great movie!!! I love, love, love, love ferrets!! We have 2 of them and they are great wouldnt want to miss them!!!

  • I have a 10 month old dachund chihuahua mix do you thiink it would hurt or even kill a ferret if i get one????

  • @thenewsupermonkey122

Make sure your dog know it is not okay to hurt the ferret. But really, they get along well with cats and dogs. I have a ferret and a kitty and they play all the time.

  • Aw, your ferrets are so adorable and beautiful! And I love how most of the time your dog just watches and occasionally gets nipped on the nose!

  • ur house must be crazy!

Moo-Shu passed when he was 8yrs. old & Cordelia when she was 5 yrs. old. :-( It was a treat to watch to watch your video! Although, it was so good that I laughed and cried all the way through it. :-) Thank you so much!

  • Sounds like you need to get yourself some more ferrets...

  • LOL, Love the lazy Fuzzbutt at the end!! (",) I adore your gorgeous gang and all of your videos!!

It's the random spazziness of Ferrets that make me smile the most, I couldn't imagine life without them!! x x

  • Comment removed

  • I am gitting a ferret for the 1st time friday. its a 1 year old nuterd boy. cant wait.

  • Are they better of worse than cats? I find them sooooo cute but my mum is a cat lover all the way through!

  • They're as good as cats in most ways, except for the whole potty training thing.

Ferrets don't always grasp the litter box concept. BUT, everything else they do makes them worth the trouble.

  • I always tell people they are a cross between a CAT (independant, do as THEY please) and a puppy (eternally playful). Ferrets can play with most cats - my older cat preferred to watch. Most dogs play well with ferrets, too, but not usually the high-strung ones. Ferrets are 85% litter-box trained. Very clean animals. Odds are better if the kit (baby ferret) stays long enough with its mother.

  • JAJA estan bien lokos xD

  • This is really cute - I like the last few seconds with the big one sprawled out - too funny!

  • AWESOME video. Ferrets are truly amazing animals, I have so much fun with my 3 little girls :D

  • ferrets are amazing pets - i have six! and their cage is massive... a 5'x 5' x 9' high, seven layer aluminum structure, in a 16' x 8' playyard with lots and lots of TUBES and ladders and fluffy leather knots and jingly balls to play with. We also play with them in the cage and bring them in the house periodically and let them run loopy-loops around the fishpond and waterfall.

  • your ferrets are amazing

  • Brilliant. I hope to be reincarnated as a domestic pet ferret.

  • Mine did quite well alone too, but he was very happy when his buddy popped into the picture. He had someone to play with when I was away, or didn't have the time. But when I he was alone, he was just as content to chase my dog around the house, or ambush my legs while I was washing dishes :D

  • do ferrets need company? like another ferret or is it ok to have only 1?

  • They are happier with a ferret friend to wrestle with, since only another ferret can wrestle properly with them, but I have had "only ferrets" and they are happy getting all of their owner's attention, too. They are adaptable.

  • those are the only ferrets other than mine that ive ever seen bow their back up and jump and um is it like bad when they get their periods?

  • Females will actually die if they are not bred when they go into heat. it's very important to get your female spayed ASAP. i am not joking.

  • i was wondering but shes spayed thanks tho!

  • Can i let my ferret out and around the house, i know a friend who spent some good time potty training his so it hits the cage when it needs to go.

  • well you have to, it's not a question of whether your ferret is potty trained or not. ferrets NEED the physical exercise and mental stimulation and should be out for an absolute minimum of 2hrs a day, but 4+hrs is better.

you will have hard time 100% potty training a ferret, but they do naturally go in corners. i have litterboxes or newspapers in certain corners of the house. if a ferret has to go they usually go to the nearest corner.

  • fickla01, thank you for this awesome video. I will soon also become a ferret owner to 2 little girls :). Tell me, is it a pain when female ferrets go into heat? Do they need special care? Would be most appreciated for answers ;)

  • yes it's actually much more then in a pain if you have an intact female, it's life threatening. Females will actually die if they are not bred when they go into heat. it's very important to get your female spayed if you are getting one from a breeder. but almost all ferrets from a rescue or pet store are already spayed/neutered since they come from commerical breeding facilities where s/n is done at a very early age.

  • Wow, thanks for the answers. I will reconsider the ferrets im gonna buy. I´ll keep it in mind. I think that I need to start with ferrets that are already trained and neutered. But I´ll see what i decide to do. Thanks again :)

  • This video made me really miss my ferrets. They were soo cuuuute ^^

Also they loved to have fun :P

  • OMG rat like things but so cute :3

  • cute lol, i love the end clip xD

  • do you work during the day? if so what do you do with the ferrets?

  • ferrets sleep a lot! Some people ferret proof a room and keep them ranging in that for most of the day. I however feel more comfortable in having all ferrets (5 now) tucked in their gigantic cage whenever I can't be there to supervise.

  • how long do you think is the longest amount of time to leave them unsupervised or alone

  • in their cage? Ferrets sleep a lot but need minimum 2hrs of playtime each day, 4+hrs would be ideal. If you're asking about unsupervised but out of their cage, that depends on how well you have ferret proofed the room. I personally would never feel comfortable leaving my ferrets unsupervised for more then 15minutes! but there are many ferret owners who do let them free range.

  • yeah but i work normals hours and i could have easily 3 hours of play time everyday but im not sure about leaving them in a cage for 8 hours at a time

  • they should have zero problem being caged for 8hrs at a time. ferrets sleep a ton and likely will only get up to eat and poop and then go back to bed!

  • wow thanks much :D i love your ferrets! keep posting videos
