  • are some of you self proclaimed pagans cause of an Image or self identitie issue? is so, please stop screwing up our traditions and idealisms just so you can be all like "hey im diffrent from main stream! aren't i soo bad ass"!

  • god all you people bitching about an pagan rap ~_~ seriously go read a fucking history book ~_~ DISCOVER what an "Bard" is ~_~ Im in no mode to type out an lecture to show you why your bias is utterly moronic ~_~ but put it this way, ancient bards were considered that much of an threat to the establishment henry the 8th ordered every single European bard too be executed cause they could rhyme about real issues and educate the commoners and start uprising agents political and royalty figures.

  • Not the best song

  • I love Omnia, they are my favourite band (well, after Chameleon Circuit) but this song just does nothing for me. I don't like the fact that it's rap, the instruments I love to hear are indeed still there, but the drums are sort of drowning them out, and it's a little heavy on the profanity (which is the least of my complaints, but still bears a mention) I was disappointed. On a positive note, I did like the part near the middle.

  • @SokaRoxMySox lol then your aspect on ancient white culture is warped, what the fuck do you think "Bards" use too do? O.o sing in rhymes and in truth? O.o sounds like ancient fucking rap too me.......

  • @TheForsakenFalcon I didn't say it was a terrible song. I didn't claim to know anything about ancient white culture and as a matter of fact, I happen to like earthy talking-to-rhythm songs (e.g. Scalliwag by Gaelic Storm). I didn't say I was Pagan and I certainly didn't say that anybody who likes this song is stupid. I said I didn't like the song, and that I wasn't that big a fan of rap. Maybe you liked it, and that's great, but I just didn't.

  • @SokaRoxMySox ok i can respect that and again sorry for my short temperament & accusations, just don't like people missing out on the big picture cause they (not saying you) like to lable them selfs and pigeon hole themselfs which tottaly voids and stuns any form of spiritual and mental growth.

  • @SokaRoxMySox sorry if i seem rude n hostile on the matter, but close minded bias is what the fundamentalist are prone too be known for, id hate too see people with potential go down that path.

  • 2:11 you're right it is german , and he says : "arbeit macht frei" wich means:"working

will make you free" this sentence was often used by the Nazis in the second world war

  • So in other words "Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me."

  • UPRISING FTW!!!!!

  • I don't care what everybody may say about this song, the truth is for me: I FACKING LOVE THIS SONG! for me everything makres sense, the lyrics, the rap the music, everything. I <3 OMNIA!

  • The lyrics are rather good but I personally prefer the more celebratory music that Omnia creates, rather than the complaining type. Also... rap music? Very disappointing.

  • We do have to go to work to earn money to live though. It a cycle we cant get out of except the lucky few with their talents that get them a free ticket. Love the song and band though.

  • I got voices in my head, and they don't like you.

  • O.o habt ihr in Amerika keine Übersetzer?

  • ARBEIT MACHT FREI is not a phrase Hitler used to say. It is written above the entrance to the concentration camp in Auschwitz. It in fact means "Working makes you free".

  • @marsfunebru

    it's jut fuckin sarcasm D:

  • great vid, but if i can just point out two "errors" in the lyrics....its "Storm winds blow on the Golden barley, Birds lie dead on the field of Athenry" ~ and if anbody is wondering, Atenry is in Galway, Ireland. but again great vid and thanks for sharing : )

  • thanks for your work, this song is great and the lyrics just add to that!

the german part (yes, it's german ^^) is "Arbeit macht frei", it means "Work makes you free" and they used to write it above the entrance of concentration camps during WW2.

  • @chiasister thanks m8 :) though all credits should go to omnia and to sylraiana for sending me the correct lyrics to the song ;) enjoy!

  • Little slip up in the intro: it's oh for fuck's sake.

  • the german part of the lyrics are

    arbeit macht frei

    and it means something like

    working makes you free

it's something hitler used to say

  • Omnia is a really good band but honestly, what were they thinking with this?

@ShannaSugar Its something Hitler used to say? Are you stupid? It wasnt something "he used to say", it were the letters on top of the gate to Auschwitz.

  • @ShannaSugar it is written on the entrance of Auschwizt
