Normally I completely agree with most of what Bob says, but this time i think he's wrong. I am an American-Israeli that the "aid" the United States is giving to Israel is bull. They are given money on conditions that Israel buys American products, (weapons etc.) not because the need aid. (infact the Israeli economy is doing better than the U.S. at the moment.The U.S, isn't the one preventing Israel from going to war with Iran, the possibility of a full scale nuclear war is what's preventing it

If you listen to how Ron Paul talks it isn't exactly clear that in the event of an attack we will defend our selves and he will be strong with positions he took on osama bin laden and aw awlaki. He called OBL a gentlemen, he would be a weak president if we ever did go to war. I am more comfortable with the idea of a president who will stop giving countries that hate Israel money and use that money to build our military.

@hopetheygotspaceweed Spending for military was cut by 36% before 911 and increased 83-86% after 911 because we were in 2 wars. It was cut 36% because we were in "peace time." So like I said we were in 2 wars, so of course we are going to spend money on the military. You do realize Ron Paul is a libertarian and isn't for using tax dollars for welfare programs right?

@kingcobra101z I never said it did. anyway man, we've been choosing presidents for the same reasons for sometime now and we're unhappy with the results. so, we can vote someone new in based on the same reasons we voted the last guy in on, OR we can go against the status quo and see what happens. i personally think we will like the results, but either way, for my family at least it cant get much worse...

Did you know that issues that shouldn't be handled by the state because of the constitution Ron Paul would let the state handle? He uses the constitution when it's convenient. @stripe64 Lets Saudi Arabia for example, in 1945 we signed an a treaty with Saudi Arabia that said we will give them military protection if they give us oil. Which is the reason we were involved in the Gulf War. If Ron Paul completely pulls out of the Middle East and doesnt come to Saudi Arabia's aid, that is betrayal. Same argument can be made about Taiwan, and South Korea. If we just pull out completely and ignore the treaties we made, its betrayal.
