i've heard Marie-Claude Valin in a recording led by a guy who lives not far from here and plays cornetto (JP Canihac). It is music by Giovanni Martino and it was years ago but i still haven't heard a voice that sounds as pure as hers! The woman accompanying her on this recording could only barely mirror her lightness. Where is her personal site with her music by the way? Thanks for video!

@hallobaaaby hello! Marie-Claude has no site... she's not that aware for the new technologies :) but she's got a cell phone... she still sings with the ensemble and got her voice... thanks for the comment!

@guimaul69 Thanks for reply--please pass to her exuberant compliments!!! as for the new technologies she doesn't miss much because in the final accounts they are great time-eater ;D i could dream her singing solo with some lute a selection of Josquin Dez Prez songs. On a plein de baroque ici, mais mon prefere Dufay on n'entend jamais. A Cracovie, ou j'habite, il y a au moins deux festivals de la musique ancienne tres connus. J'aimerai Vous y voire (et entendre)

Le disque avec Okeghem tres tres bon, meme si ce n'est pas la musique simple . Venez!!!! S'il vous plait :-)

Dear Gui,I don't like this performance as much as I do the Proportional Canon by Dufay.

Here there seems to be a preoccupation with beautiful lush sound to the exclusion of intimating space and pointing to the hidden behind the music.The Bass singing in the last twenty seconds along with the compositional voicing therein is the best for me here.
