I've been working on the Big O for months on my Ultra. No real success yet, just an occasional good pass. I seem to be going too fast through the center gate to start the 2nd circle. I tend to run out of the exercise as I begin the 2nd circle. I'm experimenting with different tracks through the exercise now. What I've been trying for weeks appears to be the same track you take.
I agree, Europeans think they are the best. I've seen people who ride for years can't do this type of riding. I don't care what country you are from. Great job Officer!
Do it the proper way with body weight and lateral body position, then i'll be impressed (also cant tell if hes using the clutch, but it sure sounds like it on the stop mid-way)
I'd be impressed too if he didnt steer. That would be truely magical but, this pattern cannot be completed without steering or using the clutch and sometimes brake. This is a low speed tight pattern on a 900 pound Harley that takes skill, not a Jap crotch rocket at 150mph. Anybody can push/pull and shift body weight at high speeds.

Well mate, im afaird to say that the standard of european driving is far higher than that in the US.
You have to do your so called 'magical' pattern to pass your bike test here.
I can do the figure, much tighther and without using the clutch or break (thats a fail on the test here) on a GSX750F which weighs in at 220kilos dry.
Stick to your straight roads and freeways mate.
