  • hi, i cannot find this place on google maps, can you give me a address? id love to check it out.

  • @xxOlixx00 - try henryton center road. here are the coordinates - 39 21'06.15" N 76 54'59.59"W

  • @BaltimoreAndOhioRR Thanks! that helped alot

  • @xxOlixx00Don't know the exact address- if you are still looking for it.- Route 70 toexit 80 to Sykesville stay left and turn left on route 32. Right on Old Frederick Road. Pass the high school on left and continue straight. Once you get to Sand Hill Road it's the very next left on to Henryton Road. Go all the way down Henryton until it dead ends. They have removed the bridge to cross. You must wade through the water to the other side. I've heard of a tunnel to go thru but haven't gone back yet

  • @adeled89

And, to get there now instead of wading through the river, you can park a little ways away from henryton and fallow the train tracks, once your out of the tunnel, you're there.

  • hello Baltimore are the best, and another thing, you tell me how I can reach this beautiful place ... I love it, if I say I subscribe to another friend we adios

  • This place is one of the finest examples of why urban explorers shouldn't give out info on these locations freely. It has been vandalized to hell, and is no longer worth seeing for most photographers.

I wish I could have seen it in its prime.

  • @Shreeb i really dont think people watching this video are watching it to find goood places to vandalize to be honest,.

  • @smilefornoreason00 You are probably correct. However, I think you've somehow missed my point. I'm not faulting the uploader.

What I'm saying is that when a good location is made public through any means, even to a group of seemingly honest people, that information will eventually spread to people who don't have any respect for historic structures. Hence the shape Henryton is in now. As a local, it's just more personal I suppose. Luckily there is no lack of other great explores within Maryland.

  • @Shreeb oh alright...and i understand. and when i go there this weekend...promise i wont vandalize anything. haha; i just like it for its haunted history,

  • @smilefornoreason00 Just don't use the front gate. Haven't been there since the fire a few weeks ago, but I did see a few people get busted by park rangers last time I was there. They most likely won't bother fining you, but they will kick you out and list your licence plate number.

It is still a pretty cool place despite the obscene tags everywhere. I still visit because it's so close by and I need to get an urbex fix every once in a while. Who knows, maybe I'll see you there ;)

  • @Shreeb i have been planning on checking this place out to get some good photos for my portfolio, i was wondering where should i park? which way should i enter? which days do you think might be best to go (weekday, weekend etc.) and any other details you might have that would help me to not get arrested :) also if you are ever in virginia looking for some cool places, let me know, i have a few favorites i would be willing to share

  • @colyerso I'm not sure what else you've explored, but if it was anything half decent, you'll probably be let down by what henryton has to offer for photographers. It's literally a shell of what it used to be, with new graffiti popping up every time I revisit (and half of it is obscene drawings of penises). Park down the railroad tracks and walk up the hill behind the campus to see it. Security hardly cares anymore in the daylight hours. I've even seen horseback riders go through multiple times.

  • @Shreeb Yeah, there is no security there during the day. It is definitely a shell of what it once was...even 10 years ago it was a magnificent site to my young eyes. We went, then, under cover of darkness...and I didn't have a camera. Now that I'm enjoying photography...it's great to go during the day. The graffiti does take away from the ambiance, and detracts from some photos...but some times, using the graffiti to tell a story is possible. I've got some very recent pics...pm me for details.

  • @300Z31 Me and a group of 10 photographers went the other week. Five of us (who have exhausted the site from countless visits) just sat on the roof and talked while the others explored. I think it's safe to say I'm officially done with the place, now that the main white building is covered from ground to roof in graffiti (which I thought was impossible- silly me).

I'm .monodrift on Flickr- a google search will bring it up. Hit me up over there to talk photos.

  • @Shreeb That's cool man. I think I might go back ONE more time...but I'm wanting to go to Rosewood now.

  • hello I am Spanish but I use google translator, this hospital is haunted not it, say that TB patients are still there, but as ghosts, will you?

  • @jergoprada -thanks for your comments. yes many say it is haunted, mainly from tb patients. i dont believe it, though

  • @BaltimoreAndOhioRR I subscribe Esposito thanks for friend.

  • Another Fine Video! Thank You for uploading & keep 'em coming!

  • @Nichol7898 I will - I have 10000's of pics and will try to get more slide shows up as I get the time to organize them and put them together. Thanks for the comment!

  • is this still up and where is it located?

  • @spitfireblind06 Yes it's still there. It's on Henryton Road. You can search on the net for it and get more info and specific locations for parking etc...

  • @spitfireblind06 how far is it from Hell house?

  • @spitfireblind06 about 15 miles.

  • Hey I remember this! I saw this on The Haunted on Animal Planet. Creepy a place so haunted could be in my very own state.

  • great vid..nice one.loks a huge as place.:)

  • wow... to think that just 3 years ago that place looked almost 10 times better than it does today. wish I could have seen it then.

  • i know ):
