city near me has had deer problems for years now...but instead of starting an urban archery season which virginia has for cities that want to participate...this past spring they let police department sharp shooters kill almost 40 at night time during one week...at a time while does are just dropping fawns that i'm sure starved to death...i guess anti-hunters prefer it that way?

If its about "control" population then why are there so many deer in the very hunted state and that the DVA;s are just as high as ever? Deer population has been growing for the past 3-4 decades . Maybe the reason being is that hunters are "producing" "providing" growing "fawn crops" getting "fawn recruits" giving supplement feeding to created large antlered deer and deer herd size. Do you think that could be the reason?
Also the size of many hunted animal have gotten smaller because of hunting. Deer, elk and certain species of bear but i am sure the deer antler will always be huge because wildlife serial killer will make sure to that by supplement feeding and planting food plots. That is how CWD spread to begin with was supplement feeding rendered animal years ago and more proof that hunting does nothing to benefit the animals or human lives it only benefit their sadistic sick selves.

simple, the amount of HUNTERS has decreased. Less hunters=more deer. What is so hard about that. Many states have "Earn a buck" program, which requires a hunter to harvest a doe before a buck, which will bring the pop. down in the next few years. States such as PA, require a buck to have 4 points on one side to shoot, therefor more bucks will be surviving, raising the population.

That video of a buck deer slaughter is not about food its about "sports" and trophy and that is what we want to abolish. How is fishing not the same as hunting, we still kill the fish and eat it. The DNR does more to manage fish populations then deer herds. Here in MI, the deer are not managed by burning or creating food plots, they let us manage our own deer herd, and they regulate seasons and bag limits.

If your gonna shot a deer in that position, you should really think about were the arrow is going to hit inside the deer. I've shot deer in that position and you should of just shot right threw the sholder blade, because the arrow would of had alot better chance of hitting a lunge,even if you dont make a full pass threw. :)

city near me has had deer problems for years now...but instead of starting an urban archery season which virginia has for cities that want to participate...this past spring they let police department sharp shooters kill almost 40 at night time during one week...at a time while does are just dropping fawns that i'm sure starved to death...i guess anti-hunters prefer it that way?

If its about "control" population then why are there so many deer in the very hunted state and that the DVA;s are just as high as ever? Deer population has been growing for the past 3-4 decades . Maybe the reason being is that hunters are "producing" "providing" growing "fawn crops" getting "fawn recruits" giving supplement feeding to created large antlered deer and deer herd size. Do you think that could be the reason?

Also the size of many hunted animal have gotten smaller because of hunting. Deer, elk and certain species of bear but i am sure the deer antler will always be huge because wildlife serial killer will make sure to that by supplement feeding and planting food plots. simple, the amount of HUNTERS has decreased. Less hunters=more deer. What is so hard about that. Many states have "Earn a buck" program, which requires a hunter to harvest a doe before a buck, which will bring the pop. down in the next few years. States such as PA, require a buck to have 4 points on one side to shoot, therefor more bucks will be surviving, raising the population.

That video of a buck deer slaughter is not about food its about "sports" and trophy and that is what we want to abolish. If it really was about food wildlife serial killers would not be spending thousands of dollars on killing equipments, lures, human smell remover, "doe in heat" cologne to spray on yourself to get the big rack deer to come to you so you can kill it for the trophy. IF it was about food you just kill the doe, for doe meat what most would eat not the buck meat.

They are all trophies to me, buck or doe. I've never shot any buck more then a 6pt, and I rarely see anything better then that. Shooting mature deer should be no issue, it is the right thing to do, take out the oldest deer in the heard. If your talking about fenced in hunting, thats a different story, I'm not a big fan of that, but having antler restrictions on free range deer to grow mature bucks, whats the big deal?

How is fishing not the same as hunting, we still kill the fish and eat it. The DNR does more to manage fish populations then deer herds. Here in MI, the deer are not managed by burning or creating food plots, they let us manage our own deer herd, and they regulate seasons and bag limits.

When too much damages have been done and Fish and wildlife know this they get desperate and try to salvage what they have destroyed but the vicious cycle continues so long as killing animals for "fun" is legal. CWD was also spread by deer/elk farming for trophy deer plus they also said that wildlife disease epidemic can worsen with hunting and even to the point of wiping the species. DNR also advise to kill the does (even with fawn) and says 'fawns can survive". HUNTERS ARE DISGUSTING!

Not the herd size the individual deer size because hunters wants to kill the big animals with large antler to compensate for what they lack between the leg. Even certain bear species have gotten smaller. But getting to the DVA's I believe and so does many others that Fish and Wildlife should be accountable for all human and injuries and death from DVA's.

We pay for habitat restoration and pretty much all other projects that are intended to increase the quality of animals and habitat with funds obtained through taxed levied on hunting equipment, taxes we levied on ourselves for this purpose. Next time you see a hunter you should thank him for helping the animals.

They also grow fawns like they were crops and even recommend to kill the predators (natures eco-balance). "Deer management" will also recommend to try and kill buck with "not so good antler" and have season so to weed out the "not so good" antler deer to produce big rack deer to KILL. im a chef also in waikiki on oahu. i hate when i watch hunters hit something early evening then wait till light to track. bile & urine stained meat is garbage ,poison. might draw in predators too.

If poaching is supposed to be illegal and all the "ethical" hunters are against it why hasn't this video been flagged and where is the outrage? Too bad you got all that shit in your brains from havin ur head up ur ass all the time. by killing them we keep their population from CRASHING, Population crash is by far the most common (Natural) extinctiion meathod which has claimed countless species. Without hunting many areas would lose the cute little bambies they thought they were protecting. after all bambi is well aware of the possibility of becoming food.
