I know kids go through this phase where they expect their bands albums to remain a particular way, but eventually, when you open your horizons, you will enjoy the uniqueness of an album such as this, by masters such as them.

I like the sound, cause quick bassdrums often get muddy & the double bassdrums with 275 bpm have to click a little, or else it takes the small details, from either bass or deep tones on the guitar. It's so fucking popular to hate triggers, cause it's maybe a bit easier.Why not use a guitar without distortion.Use acoustic damn it, it's fake to change the sound.

The whole album wasn't shit at all; almost 50% of it is actually pretty good. By 50% I mean songs like ''Omni Potens'', ''Existo Vulgoré'', ''Blades of BAAL'', ''Nevermore'' and ''Beauty meets Beast''. But everything else is completely inappropriate.

Even the few "good" songs on this album are ruined because of the sound. The guitars sound so weak. There is nothing to em and its so distant, the drums sound like shit (they must've used more triggers than a gun club) the vocals are pretty terrible, and really even songs like this are just uninspired.

That's the album in a nutshell, even good moments are negated by how bad it actually sounds.

This is one of the few good songs on Illud. Some of the riffing sounds like "Vengeance is Mine" from the Covenant album. Weird that the music on this song was written by Destruthor, not Trey. Destructhor also wrote music for 10 more dead which reminds me of riffing from "...Leading the rats." Trey wrote music for Existo, Nevermore, Beast, Too Extreme, Destructos.
