I read an interview once where Noel said, "I don't know where Sally came from, I've never met anyone named Sally," and went on to describe his songs as "words that rhyme"...I have long suspected that there was more to this one; without a doubt, this goes far beyond mere "words that rhyme", at least it does for me which is I suppose the point of writing music.
