Its funny how every time they do these commercials they say: the most dangerous man in boxing, the most feared, the pound for pound how many are there. Only won can be something and not all boxers could be dangerous or feared. I thought JC Cahvez was the best pound for pound. I thought trinidad was the hardest hitter but I guess I was wrong because you do have others who are just as good but only some have something special that seperates them from another but Winky is not the most feared.

They're finding more and more that age is about how you think about it...I think it was the inactivity, more than the age, that killed Wright. B-Hop looks like a thirty-year-old, and still fights like one too. I obviously don't know how he feels about fighting, but modern nutrition, training, and research are changing a lot of the rules.
i like kessler cuz hes a humble guy. but he really cant expect the likes of hopkins, calzaghe, dawson and wright to fight him.

Both guys when at their best dominated fighters like Tito Trinidad. They're not brawlers so you can forget about a slugfest. So what we had was two great technical fighters with great defenses. One likes to block punches the other evades punches. It made for an ugly fight but I thought was still interesting to watch from a purist point of view.

To be a great defensive boxer is to block thruout the whole fight and do nothing but get a few jabs in to win the fight or maybee youll see him throw a right hook if your lucky.
Then would you not consider Floyd Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker great defensive fighters, because they do more than just sneak in a few jabs like Winky. By the way almost half his wins have KO's or TKO's and I'm also a crazy Hopkins fan.

well Calzaghe was no spring chicken at 36, an age where most normal middles would have retired.
However, all history now. Hopkins showed himself to be a real coward by running all night & hanging onto Calzaghe. He never came to fight & even had the ref on side to help, allowing BH headbuts & holding to go virtually unchallenged..unlike the Hatton fight.
Calzage seems a great guy but he has fought three people of note his whole career a past it chris eubank,an overated slugger in jeff lacy, and the only true prime fighter kessler which Clazage impressively won even if he beat hopkins (which i think he won BH is far to clever)hopkins age will always be a factor when judging the fight if joe wins BH was to old the fight should have happend 5-6 years ago.

Hatton will put pressure on mayweather which mayweather hates i.e. de la hoya fight and with his deadly body combo shots this could be devastating for mayweather. I like these fighters but the video is over-hyping them a bit. Hopkins is good, but 'dangerous'? Not really, he's a clever tactical boxer that wins decisions. Winky is 'feared'? Not really, he's just a great defensive fighter who wins decisions.

well Calzaghe was no spring chicken at 36, an age where most normal middles would have retired.
However, all history now. Hopkins showed himself to be a real coward by running all night & hanging onto Calzaghe. He never came to fight & even had the ref on side to help, allowing BH headbuts & holding to go virtually unchallenged..unlike the Hatton fight.

Calzage seems a great guy but he has fought three people of note his whole career a past it chris eubank,an overated slugger in jeff lacy, and the only true prime fighter kessler which Clazage impressively won even if he beat hopkins (which i think he won BH is far to clever)hopkins age will always be a factor when judging the fight if joe wins BH was to old the fight should have happend 5-6 years ago.

lmao, All our top fighters just fight each other? Whats wrong with that? Calzaghe (with the exception of Kessler) didn't fight anybody. He fought Peter Manfredo Jr who is farrrrr from one of our top fighters.
We can say the same for Calzaghe, he just fights the top fighters on the other side of the pond, which IMO are far from the level of the top fighters over here.

Hatton will put pressure on mayweather which mayweather hates i.e. de la hoya fight and with his deadly body combo shots this could be devastating for mayweather. On the other hand mayweather does not come out of retirement for any random bum he is a premier fighter therefore I would never write him off..
But on a personal level I want Hatton to throw a combo of hooks and uppercuts to close mayweather's mouth for at least a couple of seconds

no one in america heard of calzaghe until he took the fight against lacy so why fight basically a nobody for litte money when he can fight tito and de la hoya for a huge paycheck. now i aint saying that calzagh is not good but he was unknown until he faced lacy which was in 2006 when hopkins was already fighting tarver. he's calling him out rite now too the only way they'll fight is IF and this is a big IF; if he gets by Kessler then fight should def happen.
