@PolsheVik I'm not comparing Cuba to the USA. The USA has it's own problems, but that's a different topic. I'm saying Cubans don't have freedom, as their government is totalitarian. Tell me, in Cuba can you criticise the government? The Cuban constitution states "there is freedom of artistic creation as long as its content is not contrary to the Revolution". In other words, the government can ban discourse and expression it doesn't like. That's not freedom.

It wouldn't make any difference if it was one Democratic-Republican Party, we'd still be run by the corporate interests and putting societies needs in the bin. And it would be the same if we had ninety parties all cooperating in destroying society. Government shouldn't be dominated by parties, as in Cuba there are no partisan elections, everyone is independent. The role of the single party should be in organising society.
