  • It's call Augmented reality it was started a long time ago... It is the same thing used in the making Roger Rabbit in 1988 using 3D tracking... However didn't get popular on the web until a 3D Flash company called papervision3d that create 3D plug-ins for Adobe Flash animation software. Flash was bought from a company call Macromedia, and flash was once called FutureSplash. Papervision3d made tons of cool 3D web apps, but sadly Apple, and Google want to remove Flash from the web...
