Would u recomend mmr to build my engine for my 04 mustang. Did u have any problems with ur engine or have u heard anything bad about them I don't wanna end up spending $8,000 for an engine if it's not gonna b quality and if there gonna give u a hard time if there was something to b wrong with the engine

MMR Was great. Very helpful. My problem was with the tuner. Socal tuning...I sent him my predator tuner to fine tune the motor and he never sent it back. He's an Asshole, I do not recommend him.

sounds amazing. Can you tell me what kind of cams you have in your car? You mentioned supercharging in the future, so did you go with blower style cams or N/A? I am most likely going to go the same route as you. 302 stroker from DSS. Racing with 9:1 compression for future blower. But in the mean time I want that mean lope like your cams give. Just don't want to spend more money in future to replace with blower friendly cams if they are geared to much towards N/A.

Yeah I went the stroker route through MMR, but it's my understanding that they are pretty close to the same thing. The cams I used were comp cams 270's or stage 2 comp cams. Let me know if you want the specs for them...

Thanks bud...Yep the manifold is about the only stock part on the motor. I left it stock because it will be replaced with a kenne bell 2.8 Supercharger.

It depends on what you will be doing to the car. If you do any work to the heads(Cams, porting ect..)You will need to have the thing tuned. Also if you are planning to upgrade the fuel system which you probably will, Meaning the injectors or a MAF upgrade it will need to be tuned. I have a Diablosport tuner for my car so I had to find someone who can do the tune Via email or by sending the unit off to have the custom tune done. Let me know if you need some contacts, I'll be glad to help you out.

How much would i be looking at for a 5.0 stroker kit and cam like yours installed? I was looking into 347 strokers but the 302 seems like plenty... Exactly what i need.

The build quality is perfect...These guys are great to work with. The only problem I have had is getting the car tuned right. I'm not close to a dyno so I'm doing it via mail order through a guy in California. Even though the tune still isn't right the car is a beast. With 295/35-18 BFG's on the back it spins through 1st 2nd and 3rd.

Thanks bud, the stroker was punched out to a 5.0. It made a huge difference in the mid range torque. 17 psi, that's sweet man. My plans are to drop a kenne bell on mine in a couple of years. Do you have any video of your car?

Sick man I have a 99 too and im pushing 17psi on stock internals and its deff pushing its limits but Im going to school for automotive tech and I was going to stroke mine to a 5.0. Is that what you did or the 5.1?

Thanks man...Not sure on the exact horsepower. I was told with the setup I have that it should be about 100 horsepower over stock, which should be around 360 at the Flywheel.
