this was easy to learn and i liked it. how would u do this to a baby granny square afghan or do u have n e other cute edgings that u would put on a baby boys blanket?

You would evenly stitch it around the edge of your blanket. The corners would need extra stitches in the same place since there is the turn around the corner. If there are not enough stitches in the corner, the corner edge will pull up and pucker.
