Of course the antislavery movement was a good thing. However, I'm curious whether there were also pro-skavery authors...

@zorc2000 I guess there were, but history of literature must not be too proud of that and does not show that part very much, I wish I knew more about literature from the U.S., I am going to ask one of my professors here in México.
