No I have not kept it unless its over 20 inch which is my personal best. I grab it how you see because they move a lot and scrape my fingers with the sandpaper teeth they have. I found this way to be the most comfortable and reliable way handling it. I also dropped many fish before so now I grab them like this.
Of course! I don't like to kill what I enjoy to do! I do it for sport and I respect wildlife and regulations. It is such an amazing fish that I would not dare hurt it.
