  • I love this show, and their passion to save the lost! Keep it up!

  • Best show ever!

  • What does these comments have to do with this video? This is a video promo on the "Basic training course". So why the evolution talk, Can't you put evolution behind you for a second?

  • Comedy Central should totally pick this up!

  • I understand that this program is trying to "relate" the bible to people from all walks of life. But isn't it interesting that Kirk Cameron chose a prison metaphor to illustrate his point to a guy who didn't look like him? Nope...still not gettin' it. I haven't been incarcerated yet. I must need a different kind of example.

  • If you watch the episodes and lesson to the radio show you will find that he uses the prison metaphor allot.

  • In a world...where the line between black and white is often cloudy...one man...must find it within himself...to fight back...the Dark Knights of the Shaolin stand between him...and his destiny...

  • John 14:6 (NIV)

"I(Jesus) am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Luke 23:34 (KJV) Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do(or say).

  • The radio show is incredible, featuring Todd Friel, Ray Comfort, and Kirk Cameron! If you love the episodes, then you'll love the live daily radio show too!

  • As an additional note, I, as an atheist do not particularly care which god or gods someone believes in. All most atheists really want is to have the Separation of Church and State (see Barry Lynn and Michael Newdow on atheistvoices.com). Laws should not be made according to religious dogma. The bible says But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

  • True, but it also says to go and proclaim the gospel to all nations, too. Christianity is not a private practice; it has to be shared freely.

  • Absolutely, in no way did Christ intend for his disciples to keep the gospel of His life to themselves, Luke 10:2 He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

  • You can "proclaim the gospel" without making politicians pass laws that tip the balance of fairness among different religious beliefs. Until your religion is proven without a single doubt, separation of church and state is the best idea.

  • Never best

  • what you said is an example of people twisting the meaning of the Bible to fit their own preferences.

  • "what you said is an example of people twisting the meaning of the Bible to fit their own preferences."

I have bad news: Christians have been doing that since they came to be. That's why there are many different denominations of Christianity; Christians can't even agree with each other on how verses are supposed to be interpreted. They, like everyone else, prefer to believe their own worldview.

  • Dont look to Christians for your full and unadulterated representation of Christ....look to Jesus...there is no inconsistencies there my friend

  • Amen brother

  • latinguitar00, I just want to tell you that this is a great statement, full of truth. It's nice to see it in print. Is it yours? I wanna put it on a shirt. Wow.

  • thanks Anamariedi, that would be a great line for a tshirt :)

  • Every translation has the same meaning, worded differently. For the english language, after God scattered all people all over the world and made people speak different languages. Genesis

  • Every time a "missing link" is found it creates another "missing link" on each side of it. There are plenty of transitional fossils that have been found, but unfortunately the "nuts" won't accept this as evidence until every minor change is accounted for. If you don't think you've evolved from a simple life form all I can say is "be patient perhaps you still may".

  • As a person whose life was changed by Jesus Christ you have to get to a point where the evolution debate is put to the side and a personal testimony is really what matters most and if an athiest still rebukes me all i can do is pray that God arrives in their life. Simple as that.

  • For every testimony I've heard about the changes that Jesus has made in someones life I've heard at least one from a Muslim that Allah has done the same for theirs. I've also heard a lot of testimony that drugs have changed still other's lives.

  • Muslims do not practice any religion similar to Christianity. Jesus fulfilled every prophecy that was written about him. You do not believe me, you do some research, prove me wrong.

  • Ever hear of the concept of retrodiction? Or even self-fulfillment? I have looked up the nature of these "prophecies" Christians always talk about and I'm still not convinced, not because I don't want to be, but because there's not enough proof these prophecies are genuine.

  • "Extraordinary claims require extrraordinary evidence." -Carl Sagan.

Here is a question for anyone who thinks evolution is false. How did fossils of animals in rock that is 1 billion years old get there?

... and why do they show a path of evolution over time?

  • Did you know that the "Father of Evolution" Charles Darwin himself was a Christian and once said • "Often a cold shudder has run through me, and I have asked myself whether I may have not devoted myself to a fantasy." — Charles Darwin, Life and Letters, 1887, Vol. 2, p. 229.

  • Darwin was skeptical of his own work, as all true skeptics are.

You have to realize that evolutionists don't have a "messiah" complex that Christians have, in that they believe "whatever the authority says, goes". Beliefs do not determine truth. There is also the unfounded rumor that Darwin recanted the theory on his deathbed. Even if that were true, it doesn't change the fact that evolution happens.

  • "and why do they show a path of evolution over time"

they don't... thats the whole reason why it hasn't been proven. that's why people are trying to find the "missing link". problem is... there is no link that is missing.

there are trillions of fossils, and not one is proof of evolution.

  • I don't think you have done any research on transitional fossils.

ardiphecus, australopithecus afaranses, homo habilis, homo erectus are all actual fossils which link from ape to human.

Nowadays, molecular evidence outweighs fossil evidence anyway.

  • I don't think you have done YOUR research Satan. Homo erectus was found to be human and Homo habilis is an artificial species, combining human & australopithecine remains. There are not yet any transitional forms, linking species to species. Man, plants, and animals have always remained within their kind.

What molecular evidence in particular are you referring to here?

  • Your assertions mean absolutely nothing if you can't back them up. Who said Homo erectus was a human? Last time I checked, creationists were claiming it was an ape, even though real scientists make neither claim. Also, what is an "artificial species"?

  • I know how the radio-active carbon dating system works, but they are starting to find flaws in it now. Atheists put so much faith in their THEORY of evolution. it's funny how many times that first word is left out. I don't believe in evolution because there is absolutely zero scientific evidence backing it up. and that's a fact!

  • The vast majority of radiometric dates show consistent results. Creationists have relied on using very few examples while ignoring the rest.

I won't leave out the word "theory" because the word means "explanation", not "guess".

And if there was no evidence for evolution, I wouldn't believe in it either. Why would I? Nor would any of all the scientists who do. There is no conviction for believing in it.

  • The problem too is that people tend to confuse evolution with science, when in fact they are in totally different areas. evolution is fantasy. Honestly, it takes a lot of faith to believe in evolution, way more than it does to believe in God.

  • It only takes "faith" if you never do any research. Scientists say it's science; you say it's fantasy. Give me one reason why I should believe you over them.

  • Because there is nothing scientific about the "research" the "scientist" are using. Science is testable and provable. Theory is only the first step of becoming science. It must become law. It must be proven, otherwise it is not science at all. I have done plenty of research. Simply listening to scientist who say their results are scientific and true, doesn't proof anything.

  • "Because there is nothing scientific about the "research" the "scientist" are using"

Seeing as how you do not seem to know much about science (as I will soon demonstrate), you really aren't in a position to make that call.

"Theory is only the first step of becoming science"

No, observation and hypothesis (among other things) come before that.

    "It must become a law."

No, it doesn't. Theories can never be laws, as they are not rungs on a ladder. I have made a video attacking this very claim.

  • "It must be proven"

Define "proven". As long as the facts coincide in a logical manner, the theory is proved until a fact comes along and disrupts the logic.

"I have done plenty of research."

Every creationist makes this claim, and I will not for a second believe that this "research" was conducted from a scientific source since most of the claims they make are false.

  • "listening to scientist... doesn't proof anything."

Yet listening to agenda-driven creationists does? Unless you're in a real position to say otherwise, you don't have any other choice but to believe scientists. Otherwise you're just another conspiracy theorist.

  • GreaterSatan, anyone who studies DNA alone, (only one mere cellular component), and says that the earth and it's contents (including man), have been manifested by random chance, is fooling himself. It takes more faith believing in a theory missing numerous essential proofs [transitional forms, etc] than to believing the universe and its contents (from the genius to the amoeba), were DESIGNED by God. -Creationist & Scientist in San Diego, CA

  • I'm not a scientist and even I know you're making straw man arguments about "random chance" and a lack of evidence. If it was really lacking proofs as you say, then scientists would be the first to say so, not these guys.

The point is it takes more faith to believe that there is a conspiracy going on in the scientific community than it does to believe... well, anything. Since you KNOW that evangelists have an agenda, that alone should let you know how much of the story they're going to give.

  • And that agenda seeps through even further when they start spouting rhetoric about how much "damage" the teaching of evolution has caused society (things like liberalism and rock music, as if that was proof that it's wrong). It's painfully obvious what this "debate" is really about.

  • Conspiracy theories are abundant, and it is the paranoid mind who really believes everything is based on this. Creation is not conspiracy though. There is not an iota of fact or fossil that disproves creation, thus evolution is comprised of a foundation riddled with cracks, and should be condemned.

The main damaged caused by evolution is for men to believe there is no eternal hope, nor moral accountability.

  • Can you honestly say that fundamentalists care about scientific truth? Don't bother answering me, just think about it. It certainly doesn't show in their rhetoric.

When you say they have no evidence, then you are saying that they are lying. Now, since you have no evidence that they are lying, nor do you have an explanation why or how they would go about doing this (since it's a peer-reviewed process), then I have no choice but to conclude that you're paranoid.

  • By the way, speaking of moral accountability... you realize of course that this whole anti-evolution crusade started out with a lie, right? Specifically, that Charles Darwin recanted the theory on his deathbed. A claim that many gullible Christians still use to this day. Now, if your beliefs hold the moral high ground, then WHY is it that you people need to lie in order to reinforce them? Why do so few of you have the intellectual honesty to check the validity of your own claims?

  • Satan Lives!

  • Jesus defeated Satan and all spiritual forces of evil at the cross (Colossians 2:14-15).

The testimony and work of Christians is helping to defeat Satan (Revelation 12:11)

  • i want to do the school so badly. i can't afford it now, but in God's timing i will take it. i have read the way of the master book, and also "God doesn't believe in atheists". and seen the videos...their ministry is truly life changing, especially for the unsaved! God bless!

  • Never knew Kirk Cameron was Christian. Wow!

  • I wont... Thanx
