Fiddleblaze and quest6364, this beautiful air is played as George McIntyre wrote it, yet not phrased "exactly" as Stuart Cassels plays it. And the guitar solo is completely different from the RCHP version! As George McIntyre composed it, neither Kintra nor the RCHP can claim it, so no legal action!!!! Its great to hear it played so well. Instead of sniping from the sidelines, credit should be given to these guys for their skilful playing of Scottish and Irish traditional music.

why dont you get a life Fiddleblaze your a S**t stirrer .. its not the same its different if you listen to the rhcp you will hear!!!! & there is no law against having wonderful talent.... both versions are Excellent .... the crowds would have enjoyed both ... were you at the Milwakee festival??????????????

I agree with fiddleblaze. This isn't a "rendition of an old classic" either.
Only the RHCPs play it. It a complete note by note copy. I'm led to believe the Chillis were at this festival, so the crowd have been ripped off too really. Because they would have heard the same tune twice. Not 2 different versions, but exactly the same tune.

What a complete rip off. At least change something. Even the guitar solos is EXACTLY the same. The band that wrote all the arangements actually played at the same festival. Are you seriously trying to claim this as your own work. I think the Red Hot Chilli Pipers should consider legal action here. Thats just discusting. You have stole what doesn't belong to you. Whyy don't you try Baba O Reillys......Have you done that already? What about some dancers?.....Oh wait!
