@canadianpenguin There are a total of 6 servers with room for another 6 below it. Spread out through the campus is about 60 thin clients but not all of them are running at the same time. All of the servers do not have enough storage on them locally so the array of servers are connected to a storage array (SAN) next to it using 4Gbs fiber channel.
how many thin clients are you running off of each server and how many do you have total?

wish i had the money to get the thin clients just bought a dell poweredge 4600 for 30 bucks just gotta get more memory (hdd).

@LordSteinchen The IT center has a 40Gbit/s connection but the blade itself has a quad fiber channel connection. 4 times 4Gbit/s = 16Gbit/s
