okay peeps, lets get somehing straight about this.metroplex is NOT autobot city.he is just a part of autobot city that can seperate from the main structure.as per the animated movie if you look at autobot city it looks completley different to metroplex city mode and autobot city DOES NOT have a robot mode
@MrGhostly12321 More or less. The Teletraan II Files were tacked on to the end of some season three episodes as a coda before the closing titles. Although of course the entire series itself was one big toy commercial.
@trence5 yes, they are much bigger.i have the fort max toy and he stands at about 2 feet tall...as a headmaster when you detach his head and transform it to robot mode [cerebious] he is the size of a regular transformer and then his head detaches and transformes [spike] into a robot the same size as the other headmaster partners...hope this gives you an idea of just how big the toy actually is
autobot city and decepticon city... was creativity on a vacation in hawaii when they had the idea of these cities? lol still that was a great cartoon!
Isn't it funny how some shows or movies predicted that in the years 2000, 2006, or 2010 would be super futuristic and totally different? And then we look around and think to ourselves, "Um yeah, we're in the future alright!"
It's 2011 and I live in Tripticon City... his giant dinosuar turds stink up the entire town. And everytime he transforms, all the dishes in my house break and I have to run out to Wal-Matron city at 3:00am to buy more
@gongxia649 Trypticon is a city. He's MUCH larger than Grimlock.
Trypticon's "robot" mode is his dinosaur mode. He's a dinosaur, a city and a battle-station. Just like Ravage is a jaguar and a cassette.
Trypticon should be larger than Omega Supreme, since he's a city, not just a rocket base. However, the cartoon was inconsistent with how big Metroplex, Trypticon and Omega Supreme were compared to the regular Transformers. Omega Supreme and Trypticon never appeared together in the G1 cartoon.
@kisslord007 And that was Kind of G1 apart from using Jetfire as the name instead of Skyfire like the show which never made sense or the character in general.
@AeonMagnus The cartoon also had mass shifting. In Robot Mode Omega Supreme was as big as Superion but in base mode he can carry a small squad of Autobots. Metroplex was much bigger in both robot mode and city mode.
@AeonMagnus scale was very inconsistent in the G1 cartoon with almost all the bots. It gets even more odd when comparing say the japanese season4 (I didn't like it) with the Marvel comics (all over the place too), and so on. Even weather Metroplex and Trypticon were whole cities, or just a major chunk of a city like the downtown area, it would vary episode to episode. I figure just take your pick which way you like the characters better.
@AeonMagnus I have no problem with Omega being bigger. Megatron was a toy gun. He shouldn't have been as big as Optimus. Blaster and Soundwave are also good examples of disproportionate transformations.
They say that the volcano was destroyed by the Decepticons, so they had to build Autobot City. thus making Metroplex. And to counter him, Trypticon was built. Here's the problem though, Autobot volcano HQ was destroyed by Trypticon lol.
If you ever read the bios on Omega Supreme and Metroplex of their respective boxes, it said that Metroplex could lift 75,000 tons while Omega Supreme Could lift 100,000 tons with his one clawed arm. So it would appear that Omega Supreme was stronger then Metroplex even though he was smaller in size to Metroplex.
It's not a story. It's a tag they put after the episode ends to showcase and promote the characters. This is _after_ the 20-something minutes of story.
I noticed a continuity error in TFA by how it was said that Omega Supreme was the Autobots last line of defense, while Metroplex is said to be their last line of defense..... MAKE UP YOUR MIND HASBRO!!!
Wasn't it said that Slammer couldn't transform into a robot (I know I read this on a TF site somewheres)? If so, wouldn't that suck for him always stuck as a tank?

@CMDRKillsalot Probably "The Ultimate Weapon", where the Decepticons steal Metroplex's transformation cog, so the Autobots steal Trypticon's.
