@643218 nope, you don't have to reboot the computer until you are done with it, so still i don't see the problems, besides what the big deal with rebooting your pc anyway??? it takes less then 30 seconds to do that, and all you have to is turning your pc off at the end of the day and turn it back on the next day when u need it.
like I said, Windows are for real business, production, they are productive, Apple OS are non productive from the get go, Steve Jobs confirmed that was their vision.

in the whole movie industry, there are ONLY two cameras you can use. SONY and Panavision, or sometimes the directors would use SONY body with modified Panavision lens and vice versa.
it is only recently, we have IMAX since it has its own standard so can really be compared to the other formats, and then RED is very popular among amateurs, but they are over exposed and over rated.

@643218 the back to your statement on "apple is basically sony", that's not what James Cameron thought when he had help from SONY to make Avatar, and it wasn't possible if it wasn't for SONY Vegas and producing equipments, that's not what the sports network, major network studio think when they have nothing but SONY has their camera, controls modules, and directing software and other hardware to deliver the programs you see on your TV.
then what about Medical equipments, banks, insurances... ?
