But you gotta think about the fact that in the studio they have months to do the songs, and they can overshadow the vocals with the music and all the fancy stuff that makes it sound better. Seeing a band live really is just a way to help support them. :3

I saw them in Chicago a couple days ago, and they were WAY better than this. Mike could scream a lot better (although that pig squeal was hilarious) and Jeremy sings a lot better now (towards the end of this vid he was pretty good though). I also noticed some of the guitar and drums were a bit off, which no longer happens. In general, they are a lit better live band now.

Because Mike's throat was too dry. It happens to the best of us. This is the only performance where Mike Hranica sounds this bad but I still love it. Most bands do, because they move and dance while singing/screaming, thus losing a lot more air. In the studio, they don't move at all, giving them a much cleaner sound on vox, which is a part of why Jeremy does better on CD.
