if you pause the vid at 1 min and 44 sec you can clearly see the jato has won this race just saying the 4tec sounded just as tuned in as the jato. but it was a very kool and close race just got me the jato 3.3 and i love it!

I'm gonna buy another Traxxas I had a Nitro Rustler 2.5 and it was the best out of 7 that I owned.. My Question to you is would you buy a Jato or Rustler?. My last truck was a HPI Savage SS and I wasn't as satisfied with it as I was with the Rustler. I just loved the power and wheelies at almost any speed. But I have heard alot about the Jato and it seems like a fun truck too

All you have to do is run a tank or two of fuel through it without driving it its a pain in the arss but worth it. Good way to make sure everything in the engine seats properly. Hope this helps.

well The 4-Tec is extreamly fast as well is the Jato 3.3. if you let the just peak out on speed the 4-tec has it beat, although they share the same engine you just can't beat the physics of a car vs a buggy type. But after all is said and done the Jato is more fun. just as quick and your not limited on the road. I have the 2.5 4 tec and its still fast but the new the 3.3 in a jato is WICKED. Buying 3.3 4-Tec soon.

i tried to count the time for that run, so the stop watch showed 4.8 sec for that 50-55 yards run ( 45-50m )

some claim to to record 2.7 sec for the 132ft ( 40m ) .. don't know if this is true.

Get the Jato if you dont have a smooth BIG lot to drive in. The 4TEC is very fast, very hard to not send it flying into a curb/crack. The 4TEC is faster than it ever needs to be, the Jato is more versatile for grass and bad parking lots. Both are great. ENJOY!

i'd go with jato. Because they basically have a 5 mph difference and with the jato you can go pretty much anywhere. but with the 4 tec all you can drive on is the street. It's your choice. I'm just trying to give suggestions.

Too rich means the air/fuel ratio is off. This ratio is changed by adjusting the carb settings. Too rich means too much fuel, not enough air.

i have a jato 3.3 and a Rustler vxl with 3s lipo and there both fast, the key to both of them is keeping the front wheels on the ground. The Jato is easier to control though!

84mph rustler is way overgeared, good for maybe 2 or 3 high speed runs before things start getting hot!
