@SweetLaxer12 A good Herc pilot can whip an unloaded one across the sky like a WW2 fighter. Got to see one really put one through its paces at an air show outside of Austin, TX in the '90s and it was an awesome sight to behold.
@fourfortyroadrunner you should get firefox. it has built in spell check so when you insult someone's terminology or grammar, you don't look like a bigger douche than you're making them out to be. perhaps you would have room for it on your computer if you uninstalled your flight simulator. i'm sure you think you're quite the badass because you get way closer to other aircraft on microsoft flight simulator
now, if it were just one of the F/A -18s itself, about 50 ft, higher and approaching from behind, that would be what happened to me when I went to see them.
Between :36 and :41, when the plane rolls level again, you can see the adverse yaw effect. This is why left rudder is needed while making a left roll - to try and counteract the adverse yaw.
@fourfortyroadrunner Your comment contains spelling and grammar mistakes. In addition, your comprehension of “rather unexpectedly” is incorrect. Just tap a local 2nd grader on the shoulder and ask them for the definition – I’m sure they will be happy to help you out.
@Rexpilot0990 Yeah, we went into Turkey on a C130 and we were late. So the pilot buzzed the strip so the guys(US AF controllers) would turn the lights on. Then he stood it up on one wing and before we knew it we were on the tarmack. We unloaded and he was gone in less than 10 mintes. Really liked Turkey--better thatn Kuwait after the First Gulf war--the "highway of death" was something else. Not to mention the oil well fires.
why are people ALWAYS cutting out the video just at the finale moment ?

"close call", "unexpectedly" You need to go back to 6th grade Enlish and re-learn some terminology. This flyby was neither.
