@Travixius. oh ya, I love it but indeed, it is only a 250. Sometime when I can afford it, the next step will be a BMW F800R. I think I'm tired of the cruiser style which is actually kind of ridiculous for a 250cc.
I've had this bike for 2 years now and I'm still riding it, pretty much every day. Great commuter. It is my first bike and I love it. Perfect bike for any big city. It is fine to go on the freeway (70 mph in the US, no problem) on short distances. I did more than 10,000 km with it and had absolutely no problems. It still starts first try when it is freezing and it has been sleeping outside too. I just scrub the rust and repaint the pipe underneath the engine every 6 months. Great first bike.
@sucemacouille . I can't rave enough about mine, as a learner approved cruiser though there is simply no match. That said, as a big guy I simply have to set my sights on a larger bike ergonimically, especially with the tendonitis I have in my leg joints. Were this not the case I would probably keep the Venox for a few years. Once my restriction lifts I am looking at Suzuki m109r or a Victory Jackpot (if cash permits). As phenomenal as the Venox is it is still just a 250.
Well i've had my red 09 now for around 4mnths (on P's) and the bike has been excellent! Runs great and super comfy. I've fitted a backrest and luggage rack, plus upgraded the rear sprocket to 44T plus 520o-ring chain. Bike was already decent on torque but now its really noticeably faster off lights and in mid range. Has lost a bit of top-speed and gears wind out quicker but I use it for daily commuting so I recommend to anyone else thinking of it. Venox is a great bike!
@upT3mpo Was wondering about the backrest/luggage rack and such, which one did you install? I'm planning to install those but since none of the makers have specificly for the Venox I'm puzzled. Can you PM me, if it's no prob.?
@Grieg13 hi mate. I bought my backrest from tucmoto.com. check out their Venox accessories, second page. Make sure you choose tall or short, I got short and it's great. It's made by a Spanish company SPAAN so the instructions are in Spanish, but use google translator and you should be fine. My only advice is to ditch the small nuts which come with it, and replace them with nylox lock nuts. The vibrations WILL unsrcrew (like mine) and your luggage may have a nasty surprise (or your passenger!).
@Grieg13 thankfully not! no damages but the screws did come out due to vibrations after only 1 week so i guarantee it will happen. slight oversight from manufacturer. other than that, works/looks great.
I'm a learner who stumbled across this bike. So you think it is a good bike to learn on? Do you think it will grow with me as I get more experienced on the bike? Did you get rid of the Kymco sign on the forks cross-bar? What's it like at freeway speed? Can you still accelerate adequately? Thanks for answering my questions, there's just so much around when you're new to it. All a bit confusing.
Just about to get my red 09 model! Can't wait, all reviews are so positive and the look and sound + ride are best in class. Only thing is you have to keep them clean or else the finish will start to go after a while.
the bike looked awesome under sunlight. i have a red one in my garage, it glows like flame!

@upT3mpo Is that said from personal experience? If so I'm soooooo sorry!! :)
Spanish? no problem, don't need translator. But something tells me they won't have Croatia as a country they ship it to.
