We'll never see his like again...for the simple fact that we'll never see his generation again. Civility. Grace. Will we ever see it again in our lifetimes?
Not surprisingly, all the hate-filled comments are made by people who upon viewing their own channels one finds more hate and anger. Pathetic. Keep being negative, gents, and I say that facetiously, because with such an attitude of hate you'll not sway a soul or affect one single thing in this world. And that's a good thing.
I love and respect President Reagan, but I regret that he overlooked Sinatra's ties to organized crime, and awarded him the Presidential Award of Freedom. Remember, Sinatra was a Democrat, completely behind JFK, and got crony's such as Sam Giancana and other Mob figures to support him. It was only after JFK declined to stay at Sinatra's house during a trip to Palm Springs (because of his Mob connections), that Sinatra turned into a Republican.
@Dogheadj That wasn't the only reason. Don't forget brother Bobby. You don't use the mob to get elected than start putting them in jail. There are many crimes the mob commits, but one they don't tolerate is betrayal.
A wit's wit and a great gentleman .. it seems honesty like that and the dignity that goes along with it are scares qualities these days.. scarcer still in politics.
We all Miss you Mr. President. Long will your name be remembered.. fondly.
Great video. You can tell how sharp Ronald Reagan was before the John Hinckley shooting. To me, that was the watershed to where his health declined to the point where it became very noticeable by late in his second term. I miss him very much. Just his smile has more friendly assuring charisma than the bla bla bla Obambla.
Frank Sinatra was a powerful influence such that any politician who aspired to be President must make friends with. Reagan's speech was witty and politically astute.
The guy has got style, but ultimately he's an asshole.

It's too bad Reagan didn't stick to entertainment. Then again, maybe that's what he thought the White House was.

Ronald Reagan was all class.
He brought respect to the White House.
He was also the last great president.
The ones after him were all clowns.
We need a Reagan today.

What a classic. It's a somber reminder that every one of these people we see here are passed on now.

The irony of years to come: "Without his help who knows I might have been President". Love Ronald Reagan & classic Hollywood.

Anyone alive today was a lot 'sharper' then than now, if they were adults then.
I was 13 when he became president and 21 when he left office. He is my favorite president.
