about 30 000 in croatia, with the death toll again being slightly in favour of the serbs, but the Operation Storm is still considered as a crime agianst humanity, against serbs.
AS for Kosovo, only about 3000 dead on the albanian side. 3000 serbs approx. during the bombing.
And approximately 2000 serbs killed in the aftermath by local militias between 1999 and 2003.

I wonder why is it that all the powers in the region oppose a new Albania! They know better than the rest of the world. Regardless, the government of Serbia owns over 60% of the land! In a case of separation there would have to be a buyout worth 100's of billions of dollars! Independant Kosovo will throw the region into chaos! The reason Kosovo muslims use is rather funny: Serbia has allowed them full citizen freedoms for decades(except when that maniac Milosevic was in power), despite the fact that a single family has on average 9-11 children. Currently, no police force, incuding INTERPOL, has no jurisdiction in Kosovo, meaning that Americans have made a safe heaven for terrorists and criminals! If anyone in this world wants to hide from the law, Kosovo is their best option. There is no logical explanation for why KiH should become independant.

sorry i am not familiar with the "repablik of srpska"but if it is the serbian part of mitrovica ur talking about,they are less that 130thousand serbs in Kosovo here and there.but let me point out to you that there is more Albanians than that living inside serbian territory now,thats outside kosovo.
personally i would agrea to change of borders on the basis of etnicity anywhere,as long as there is a sisable majority

Kosovo belongs to Albanians... You will see... As president Bush said, there's no question about it, Kosovo will be independent. So serbs, just grow up and accept the reality if you want to move ahead.
