not sure about the widescreen but I downloaded the 30 day trial and downloaded a crack off the internet that takes away the 30 day limit.

i have a quick question- i also use adobe premiere elements 2- and i'm trying to make a stop motion film using the slide show feature. my question is: i cantake pics with my digital cam or still shots with my video camera, but, when i string them all together to make a stop motion movie, the end result is grainy (even though the individual pics are good resolution). i was wondering if you had any advice?

cropping is great for this effect; apply the effect and then adjust top 15% or so and 15% to the bottom.

After effects are for creating motion control scenes.. titling with special effects for example. Although you can create some of the effects in Premier, it has it's own strengths.
