This is what rock and roll is all about. HOw they can leave someone like Larry Williams out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and put someone it like Guns and Roses is beyond comprehension. Let's recognize the people that created the genre first and add the pretenders later.
Great song, and I've learned something, too. I always liked the Beatles' version, but assumed it was originally a Little Richard song. If the Beatles were into this guy, I need to check him out, too. (I see above, Bony Maronie was his, too, wow!)
I love the Beatlers' version, but I prefer the one made by this pimp 'n pusher.
