I don't like how Angry Archer never got an origin or a simple explanation of how he became a supervillain, I kinda like him. Nanosec, Slo-mo, Meltdown, Prometheus and Headmaster did have one. Professor Princess never got an origin, but I don't mind that. She's annoying.

Angry Archer is just a disposable villain; his entire storyline only lasts about 90 secs. You know how the first 1-2 mins of The Simpsons has nothing to do with the rest of the episode? Same deal here.

Megatron and the Decepticons (and several less-lame human villains) make up the bulk of the storylines, including this episode.

Personally...I think this (the human villain) was a workable concept that was hampered by such a stupid name.

I like characters like Hawkeye and Green Arrow, but I think this character is out of place in the Transformers. Still, I'm glad the Archer was limited to just this cameo and was easily trounced by Prime. Anything beyond that would've been laughable, so it's nice to the writers are treading carefully with the use of human villains.

I can understand that. And I do think that introducing human villains to this series is a good idea, as it gives the Autobots something else to do instead of battle Decepticons. But I'm not all that smitten with the Angry Archer.

Unlike Nanosec, who sounds and looks like a cool villain. As well as Meltdown.

That Professor Princess girl from the Soundwave episode is no better. Personally, I can understand shoving some human villains in to mix things up but some of these one-off villains make the Autobots look like Teen Titans wannabes in my eyes.

You're right about Meltdown though. He is a human (sorta) villain who works. Mostly due to him being lethal to the touch for them.

I agree. The less said about...shudder 'Professor Princess', the better.

Meltdown has really turned out to be such a deadly, warped and sadistic villain. I loved his appearence in 'Survival of the fittest' where he kidnaps Sari and forces the Dinobots to serve him.

Nanosec was very good, given Megatron's manipulation and his fate at the end of the episode.

Headmaster was ok. Good adaptation of the classic G1 concept that was tarnished by the irritating manner the character spoke in.

Who didn't watch Transformers and cringe during the ads when the girls toys were came on? You knew that those Rainbow Strawberry Cabbage Pony Shortcake... *things* were sickeningly cute, must ultimately be evil and needed to be destroyed by your Transformers, even the Decepticons. At least, that's what you tried to explain to your parents, who didn't believe you.
