  • Who won?

  • There's no winners in war... only those that are left.

    Cheers :-)

  • what is the name of the toy or what it is???? it look cool

  • Where can I buy 6mm ww2/modern infantry?

  • Its really awesome to see that kind of gaming. I used to play Modern Cold War games all the time. Sadly historical wargames are a shell of there former self. Nowadays its all the simple this...and too complex that. There is no fun in these new plasitc quick games. Everybody wants miniatures to be a Movie or a PC game. Theres plenty of both.

  • I play WH40K and I find smaller scales better now. You can have a lot of terrain and the minis costs less.

  • This is so cool, im hoping to start a USMC force, but i dont think there is a store anywhere near i am were people play this

  • 'The Great Silent War of 1995'

    Great stuff!!

  • u are so pissed that they took your music off

  • nice..where exactly did u get all the models. i have seen these in hobby lobby but did u get any from other places?

  • english civil war?

  • You do realize that the American Civil War was not the only civil war in world history, yes?

  • i ment that as a joke. there has been no english civil war in the late 20th centuary or the 21st centuary

  • incorrect spelling century is spell like this

  • Really nice setup. Wish they bring out more wargame computor games, after all they killed of the dice gaming :p

Something like the old UFO Enemy Unknown turn based strategy, no more of this real time C & C tedium!

  • where did you get the mini tanks???

  • Where can I get the rules and miniature???

  • GHD models ownz with 1:247 scale

  • to small for me i like 1/72nd scale

  • i think they were 15mm or 6mm duno

  • hey im wandering about the conflicts in northern ireland. does any1 no where i can get rules and what figers i can use for IRA

  • awsome

  • You used the same song as in the LARP video- "Go raise an army and bring them to me immediately!"

  • quality

  • ive always wanted to get into modern. i do everything but 20th century (unless u count back of beyond)

  • Woow!!! Woow!!! Woow!!!

I wish I had materials to build this!

  • wow i wanna play too

  • Awesome, Dude can I be your friend and come over to play?

  • :-)

  • Is that 'flames of war' models and rules

  • Thanks for the comments and interest...

The scale is 1/285 - GHQ Microtanks

Rules - Challenger 2000 Modern Wargame Rules

Ground scale 1/2 or 1/1 small arms

Hope to post another video this winter.

    Cheers

  • Operation Flashpoint 1:144 ;]

  • ehm...actually it's 6mm scale, so thats about a tad smaller than 1:200 ;)

  • ehm if thats 1:200 its simply ROCKS!!!

  • Im quite sure thats the scale, I can see it's 6mm scale and I definatly think that it's about 1:200

  • its 1:285th scale

  • Epic!

  • WOW!!!!!!!! that looks great!

  • I AM ANGRY

    I AM FUCKING ANGRY

  • nice.

  • hey man props on the bord i used to be a 40k gamer and im not familiar with challenger but a misleading comment led me to FOW so thanks i guess

  • are these models of ghq??

  • Yep - all military stuff GHQ + a few of the buildings.

  • Great video! Nice choice of music and photography...

  • thats funny reminds me of the classic cnc

  • idk why but this gaming board reminds my of a game called flashpoint.

  • i don't like the music choice

  • Yea flames of war owns.

im trying to make a new set of rules for axis and allies so you can use terrain liek this because the figures are already painted and alot cheaper.

  • were did you get the detailed landscapes and all the minetures

  • actually, UFO's brought them, cause humans are too puny. duh

  • is this ho?

  • i wanted to kae one with thekorean war theater and put modern units

  • where would i go if wanted to try it out i live in conneticiut usa

  • This is 6mm aka 1/285 scale microarmor. This is US and UK modern day and old Soviet and Warsaw Pack countries. I wargaming using World War II. I am currently working on (3/4 done) rule dealing with the European Theater of WW II.

  • I came to watch a movie about wargaming, I stay for Ektomorf!

  • is this 10 or 6mm?

  • looks like GHQ models, 6 mm

  • is this 10 or 6mm?

  • Hey, what's the music you're using from? I really like them, especially the first (Sounds a bit Command & Conquer like). Anyway, awesome video, absolutely awesome scenery and miniatures.

  • I know the second song is Ektomorf - Tear Apart

  • hey your right it does sound like command and conquer (only that techno-ish one though)

  • Really nice battlefield you got there, must have taken up a huge amount of work!!

Did you make the vehicles / tanks / aircraft yourself or did you buy them, if so, what kind of scale / manufacturer are they?

    Thanks!

  • amazing terrain u make it?

  • All my own work... and boy did it take some time! Starting to run out of enthusiasm finishing the Soviet troops... but I'll get there. Thanks for all the comments.

  • where did you get trees ?

  • Top photography for such a small scale. Great work all round.

  • No, this is neither Flames of War, nor Axis and Allies. Suggest you read the other comments and watch the video to the end. It's an awesome layout, using Challenger 2000 rules and GHQ 1/285 minis. Try Googling them. I do FFT with 15mm, but I'd love a table like that. Look forward to seeing it at Salute.

  • i used to play warhammer and i must admit, although its cool its WAY to pricey and overrated. this is Axis and allies right?

  • Wargaming shops/toy shops

  • Awsome!!!! 1000 times better than Warhammer. WERE do u get these things from because i am interested??

  • lol. Don't you mean 40,000 times better than warhammer??? i don't agree just thought that was funny

  • lol 40k time better than warhammer... jayspaceinspace, try a local hobby shop. google maps, hobby shops near "your zip code"

  • ummm.... lotr, warhammer and warhammer 40k are better

  • 40ks worse maily because of the dogy armour safe rules and the lake of cqc.

  • but lotr is still better... :)

  • is it axis and allies?

  • this music rocks this game cool but 400 dollars worth for flames of war 220 dollars for 200 piece start box

  • this looks great

    40k FTW still

  • Great Terrain and the game also looks cool... I only know of Flames of War (WW II) as an alternative to the GW-Behemoth and a bit of other fantasy things... where can i get rules for Modern Combat Tabletops?

  • google "Fistful of TOWS 2" the rules are online and free with FFT3 coming out soon.

  • I use Challenger 2000 Ultra Modern Wargame rules. You can still find copies on the net. Thanks for the comments. Regards, Ned & Ted

  • great video and big fan of modern wargaming.. using Fistful of TOWS rules and we are burning up T-80's and M1's here in Northern Virginia....

  • Great layout on your armor :-)

  • COOL

  • Quality! What's the first track before Love Dump comes on?

  • nice smoke effect of the challenger...NE1 know where I can order WWII ships (1:1200) in the USA?

  • Hi Brian, sorry didn't notice ur comment. Not sure on the ships thing... I use GHQ who manufacture micro ships - not sure on the scale though. Keep hittin those skins :-)

  • A lot of work obviously went into the terrain and miniatures, but which scale are they? Great vid!

  • 1/285 - section in a matchbox. Thanks for your comments :-)

  • great video, great minatures, but can you plz tell me the name of the first song?? it rocks!
