  • @607995 han bennik

  • the bassist is like, "DON'T LOOK AT ME"

  • adam sandler

  • Maravilha de Jazz !

  • i love it!!!! This guy is HOT - as in hot jazz... which paradoxically is the same as ultra-cool jazz!! No matter how you say it, though: he's about as far from luke warm as you can get.

  • Not a jazz head, but this guy is brill. There was an Irish guy called Louis Steward, does anyone know is he still playing/

  • @downbutnotout12 Don't know if he still plays out, but Louis is a monster player.

  • Wes was one of the few masters, and this excellent video is a great master class!

  • El mejor sin ninguna duda.

  • Wes is amazing...he dropped his plectrum.. and keeps on playing without missing a single note.

  • excelent

  • the chord changes are so mysterious and unique. i would almost say ahead of its time. Thank Horace silver for this great standard

  • wes' chops are out of this world.

  • this is such an incredible vid! to be able to see these guys play. a jazz orgasm is the only way to describe it.

  • Great stuff! its floating so much!

  • This is my favourite band Wes had on the whole Europe Tour DVD. You could just tell they were all young Jazz heads loving the chance to play with Wes. I love how before this Wes shows the changes to the piano player. Great stuff.

  • WES=MARADONNA!!!

  • This is a great band and Wes shines like a star, Wes had all the tools and plays with the greatest of taste he has great chords, brilliant lines and uncomparable octaves.

  • Wes was really impressed with these guys..... you can see it in his face and body language. And of course they were blown away by him. I Love WES!

  • @Bomberomusician Wes was the kindest ,most sincere and approachable musician in history.

Lee Ritenour said Wes spent a long time showing hiim what to do..Pat Metheny said when he approached Wes after a Jazz Festival he couldn't believe the love & humility he generated.

How many musicians today have got time for small kids asking questions?

  • His speaking voice is similar to Quincy Jones!

  • la classe, pas plus pas moins

  • Wes, taken from us too soon...

  • Thanks.

  • lets "try" some nicas dream...

    TRY? hahaha totally NAILED IT.

  • Wonderful. Thanks.

  • This, as part of 3 great studio sessions available on a dvd... all from 1965 trip through Europe. Get it. It's awesome. Watch it all the time.

Wes' brain must be the size of Einstein's, or Webster's, or Juh's. He is moving through time and tone like only he did.

  • wow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I could listen/watch this man endlessly; so refreshing.
