@TheCosmicRainbow It was created backward it Dandelion mind. Bill take lute and ask audience: "What is this?" And someone say "Luuuuttttteeeee!" - long and booing sound. Bill take this like a joke and start with audience "luting" :D For people it was catchy so after every good joke what Bill make, they started "luting".... So it is not booing but saing something like "yehey!" but in the new way... I hope I helped - this luting is coming from word "lute".
@simonstapletondotcom same here mate :) he messed up a bit, but it was still hilarious. IMO guessing the name of the instrument was the highlight... PIGEON!!! :D
@plasticbudgie He said he found it funny. Sadly, there's not a lot more to say, I didn't dwell on it. There was only a quick reference to it when we spoke about remixes as a whole, but he said he likes it.
@Nogli Ahhh what a shame would of loved for a lil more detail but if you're interviewing i guess you dont wanna dewll :), thank you for the speedy response :)
@plasticbudgie It is a pity. We were talking about artists' different takes on his works and how it had been twisted into other genres (as his genre has shifted a lot over the years). I asked him about Bill's version, got a few sentences before '...the thing about remixes is...' so I wouldn't be able to mention it again. Still that interview went brilliantly. In a couple of weeks I have to interview Trivium. Should be a giggle.
I'm finally convinced Bill Bailey is the great living English comedian. Stewart Lee can whisper into silence, Eddie Izzard can make all the light-sabre noises he likes...Bailey is a Legend.
@cofpaddy While you are (so so so very) wrong about Stewart Lee and Eddie Izzard, this is better than most of his recent stuff. I laughed more at this 3 minute clip than I did through the whole of Tinselworm. I'm hoping that awful excuse for comedy was just a blip in an otherwise legendary career.

@GoodNightStockholm I believe sir, that you are in fact incorrect. I am positively certain that they are proclaiming the word 'Ude'.

They are actually shouting UDE, its one of Bill Baileys tunes

@Diablo666Daemon666 Oud*. And it's not a song, it's an instrument that the crowd started to worship haha.
MrPunkFever 1 month ago
@Diablo666Daemon666 they were shouting oud, earlier in the gig he was playing one and he asked them to chant it earlier.

was that booing at the end?
dljc1979 4 months ago
@dljc1979 No, they were "worshiping" the instrument he holds up, which is called an Oud. It's a recurring joke from earlier on!
