  • Gary loves this,he bought the DVD!

  • I bet he would larf at it!

  • What language?

  • @mr2000aaa French, obviously.

  • I bow down at your greatness!!!!

  • Brilliant!

  • Who says Zappa is dead! Way to go Bill...

  • why do people start booing at the end? *confused*

  • @TheCosmicRainbow I don't think that they're booing but saying "Uuuuuude." Check out "Bill Bailey - Ude" in the related videos.

  • @CrashingChords Ouuuuuuuud.

  • @antster1983 Is this an Oud?

  • @CrashingChords Oud.

  • @TheCosmicRainbow It was created backward it Dandelion mind. Bill take lute and ask audience: "What is this?" And someone say "Luuuuttttteeeee!" - long and booing sound. Bill take this like a joke and start with audience "luting" :D For people it was catchy so after every good joke what Bill make, they started "luting".... So it is not booing but saing something like "yehey!" but in the new way... I hope I helped - this luting is coming from word "lute".

  • @GoodNightStockholm I believe sir, that you are in fact incorrect. I am positively certain that they are proclaiming the word 'Ude'.

  • They are actually shouting UDE, its one of Bill Baileys tunes

  • @Diablo666Daemon666 Oud*. And it's not a song, it's an instrument that the crowd started to worship haha.

  • @Diablo666Daemon666 they were shouting oud, earlier in the gig he was playing one and he asked them to chant it earlier.

  • Pure brilliance. Saw this last night in Nottingham. I want a Citroen DS.

  • @wisteela was in the same crowd - my jaw hurt from laughing so much.

  • @wisteela Ahaha. Yes Nottingham! I was there too :D

    LAY OFF THE ACID! ;)

  • @collabi Just listened to an interview with Gary Numan on radio 6 - he likes it!

  • Tres Bien Bailey :0)

  • its funny how i've just had to do this for my a level music tech

  • @hondansx1000 Shame it's tempo is so retarded!

  • But...the tempo is the right speed...?

  • @DrusillaTheVamp Thank you very much :)

  • @DrusillaTheVamp I'd die laughing if the quote does appear on one of his dvds or book XD

  • GRANDE BAILEY!!

  • @KGzll - yeah at the end it all went wrong. Not sure I could get half-way through without breaking up in laughter!

  • Saw this live at Birmingham LG Arena. So Funny. Brought the house down

  • @simonstapletondotcom same here mate :) he messed up a bit, but it was still hilarious. IMO guessing the name of the instrument was the highlight... PIGEON!!! :D

  • Some people have so much talent; it is not fair.

  • I'm convinced Bailey is the Mad Hatter of the music/comedy world.

  • @collabi Gary Numan loves this ive heard him talk about it in an interview. he likes Bill Bailey thought it was very funny.

  • These horns are amazing. Holy chizz, I'm like obsessed with that part.

  • was that booing at the end?

  • @dljc1979 No, they were "worshiping" the instrument he holds up, which is called an Oud. It's a recurring joke from earlier on!

  • Absolutely priceless , tears are running down my face , my sister is gutted by this , but laughing at the same time , she was a great Numan fan .

Me I just think Bill has a wonderfully warped mind & should keep creating more for us to watch

  • that was just pure genius :)

  • I wonder if Gary has seen this :') Bill your an utter legend ! <3

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk part of the shit on the glass was the best

  • that seriously kicked ass

  • I wonder if Mr Noel (Buzzcocks/Boosh) Fielding had a hand in this lol. Seen as he is a Numan fan too.

  • lol he deserves every penny from ticket sales for the effort that mustav gone into this alone! XD

  • Unbaileyvable!

     See what I did there.

  • Bloody brilliant . . . love it !! lol

  • this was my highlight of the live show in dublin...

  • I would love to know what Gary Numan thinks of this.

  • @collabi I actually have to interview Gary in a couple of days. I'll ask and let you know!

  • @Nogli what did he say ?

  • @plasticbudgie He said he found it funny. Sadly, there's not a lot more to say, I didn't dwell on it. There was only a quick reference to it when we spoke about remixes as a whole, but he said he likes it.

  • @Nogli Ahhh what a shame would of loved for a lil more detail but if you're interviewing i guess you dont wanna dewll :), thank you for the speedy response :)

  • @plasticbudgie It is a pity. We were talking about artists' different takes on his works and how it had been twisted into other genres (as his genre has shifted a lot over the years). I asked him about Bill's version, got a few sentences before '...the thing about remixes is...' so I wouldn't be able to mention it again. Still that interview went brilliantly. In a couple of weeks I have to interview Trivium. Should be a giggle.

  • HE LOVES IT!

  • How feckin cool is that !

  • Bloody brilliant

  • This is legendary

  • Brilliant!

  • Fantastic lol

  • I'm finally convinced Bill Bailey is the great living English comedian. Stewart Lee can whisper into silence, Eddie Izzard can make all the light-sabre noises he likes...Bailey is a Legend.

  • @cofpaddy ooode

  • @cofpaddy if you properly listened to the light sabre noises you'd realise these two men's comedy is not at all dissimilar dude

  • @cofpaddy While you are (so so so very) wrong about Stewart Lee and Eddie Izzard, this is better than most of his recent stuff. I laughed more at this 3 minute clip than I did through the whole of Tinselworm. I'm hoping that awful excuse for comedy was just a blip in an otherwise legendary career.

  • Hahaha Good stuff.
