  • Your voice is deep O///O It suprised me :{D

    watch?v=jaPsiGutGPQ

    Great Documentary!

  • Damn Kade, how the hell did you get so amazing?

  • @AmuAtLarge: Should I take this as a compliment?

  • I heart you AND your videos but I can't watch this one...the wind chimes hurt my musician ears!...it's annoying to be so sensitive to dissonance but we are conditioned that way...ahhh!

  • @MusicontheBrain247: oh no! i knew they'd be murder on someone's ears. Sorry friend. I'll do better next time. :)

  • I've always been a fan of Easter egg hunts, but I've missed out on them a lot, so this year my mom and I bought a ton of eggs and three special ones shaped like frogs. We filled the normal ones with candy and the frogs were the incentive to play because they came with an iPod giftcard. I love hunting for eggs! We're all seventeen and eighteen year olds. It was tons of fun.

  • @cornstarch27: Your mom sounds awesome! I would SO hunt for frog shaped easter eggs filled with iPod goodness. I'm just saying. :)

  • Kade = awesomeness! : )

  • I might be the only person in the world who hates wind chimes. They drive me crazy like alarm clocks.

  • My family always put money in the eggs lol. All kids want money hahaha

  • what did you look like as a girl?

  • For Easter my dad used to buy loads of chocolate eggs and hide them around the house and give us clues that we had to figure out in order to find them. It was awesome, but then we got "too old"

  • Well said as always, Kade! Hope your Easter was great :)

  • Thinking of you as ever being negative or insecure is hard for my brain to understand... like. In my mind you are Kade. synonymous with awesome. :D seriously your articulation of these sorts of things makes me very happy... always profound, always inspiring.. thanks Kade!

  • i did about the same. when i first realized who i was i just started watching other transguys here on youtube and doing my research which i highly recomend for anyone who is thinking they might be trans. guy or girl

  • i came out to my family as lesbian about three years ago and just recently came out as trans. at the moment i'm talking to my school therapist to find a gender therapist. my family isn't taking it well but at least they dont disown me so i have that going

  • you are so my favorite person right now.

  • What camera do you use? It's really crisp! :D

  • @VeeRodrigue:For this video, it's actually just a Canon Powershot A690. I think I just got lucky with the weather and the angle. But if anyone asks, I totally planned it that way. :)

  • Wonderful Kade...don't worry...you were plenty profound!!! Happy Easter!

  • you are aaaaamazing :)

  • i was waiting all week for your video because you ARE the guru of the week on this topic. :DD

  • Kade, you're awesome. Great video as always. Hope you had a fantastic time with the family.

  • Now that you've had top surgery are you more intimate and connected with your girlfriend or the people you date? And do you feel completed now or are you thinking of having the bottom surgery as well?

  • hey kade, as far as i remember i've never felt like a girl... but i don't think i'm a boy either... so i'm not sure what to do cause i do feel in between but no one can tell cause i look so much like a girl. my features are just very feminine no matter what i do or wear. and i don't identify as butch either. do you think i should take T to look a little more in between like i feel ? do you have any advice ? i feel so lost.

  • Thanks for your input, Kade. You're very level headed.

  • i have known since i was around the age of 4 or 5 that something wasn't quite right. i am now 21 and aching to transition from ftm. i fear my parents' reaction, as coming out as "gay" when i was 18 did not go over well at all and is still an issue. all that aside, i know you say that it doesn't matter what age you begin your transition. but i want to know if the effects of HRT are quicker/better if you start younger. i worry that if i wait, my body won't look as male as it can. thanks man =)

  • I'm not all that into being a girl, but don't want to be a boy. I don't feel like anything's missing, and I'm happy where I am.

    awesome video! thanks Kade. :)

  • I admire you so much, Kade. Thanks for everything. <3 <3

  • Well done Kade :)

  • I celebrate passover during this part of the year... but my family tradition is to go buy cheap post-easter chocolate :) I've always felt like in that in a way I could enjoy/celebrate easter too!

  • I celebrate passover during this part of the year... but my family tradition is to go buy cheap post-easter chocolate :) I've always felt like in that in a way I could enjoy/celebrate easter too!

  • You sir are a wonderful human being! great advice!!

  • My admiration for you? It's a head thing.

You've mentioned before you felt a great sense of camaraderie after transitioning. Do you know why that can't exist between f&m or f&f? My friends are mostly guys (especially when I was younger), but once they got girlfriends, they always fell off the face of the earth. As I'm getting older, I find it easier to make casual fem friends, but it always feels uncomfortable and superficial... I'd much rather chill with the guys...

  • thank you for this video, kade.

  • I'm not attracted to girls, so I've never had to come out as a lesbian and I don't feel a part of the LGBT community and I don't have any gay friends at all. So I feel like I have no one to talk to. But I feel like a boy inside. A gay boy. I most definitely wish I was just born male, but I'm so insecure about the idea of transitioning and I almost feel like I'm not strong enough to handle being trans and handle having to come out, having to explain. I'm such a wimp. How do you find the strength?

  • @12thLeveIWizardKing Best wishes for your journey.

  • you are amazing.

Intuitive, educated, intruiging, well-spoken, and honest.

You are like the budha to my life.

    -b-

  • How has your religion affected your transition? Thanks Kade!

  • @GoingToWar is there a reason why you have to come here and spread your word vomit all over the place? i know people like you and it's a pretty well known fact that those who staunchly put down gay people, and the gay community have latent homosexual tendencies. just sayin...

  • wonderful video Kade, i think you've said it though. It's all so individual that one person doesn't hold all the answers. You gotta do what right for you. Research is always the best answer, and soul searching.

As a bi woman, i had to search myself to figure out if i was confused or just in a phase, my parents thought it was a phase, but i had to figure it out for myself. Eventually I realized it was ok to like both genders, and that there was a huge bi community of people who thought like me.

  • my mom felt really guilty when I told her that I wanted to transition because she felt like puberty and stuff could have been avoided (or blocked a bit more) if I had told her I "was a boy" when I was little. some people just don't know until they're older i guess lol

  • sometimes i fill like a guy and some times a gril i now im genderqueer but i did ponder the idea i could be trans at one time but now im sure that i am genderqueer and it gets heard some times great video !

  • Sometimes I feel like a guy. I've always wanted to be a boy as a kid, but it was only because I thought only boys get to play in mud. Sometimes I still wonder what it's like to be a guy. I don't feel 100% girl, but I'm quite content with it. Idk...I just put it behind me. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

  • The profound thought here is just as you said,, "It's a head thing" Haaaaa!! That my Dear Kade was spot on and soooooooooo simple its invisable at times. The masses leave the temple saying so it is that simple huh? Yup it is. Great video

  • how far along are you in your transition? i know you had chest surgery but what about any others? how did your family react when you said you identified as trans? how does your girlfriend feel about it?

sorry if they're too personal. :)

  • @coolkitty7 Yea, i kinda would like to know as well.

If thats to personal i'm sorry as well.

My parents flipped when i told them I was bi, wanted it to be a phase, so your families reaction would be something i wonder about.

And my boyfriends have always been awkward about me liking girls too, how did it affect your relationship with your girlfriend? Did she know when you started dating or did you tell her later?

  • @coolkitty7: I am currently a little over two years into physical transition. I started hormone therapy in February of 2008. And as of yet, chest surgery has been the only one. No worries on the questions being too personal...all you can do is ask, right? :) The other questions will have to wait for a video because they are gonna need a little more attention..

  • you're wonderful. that is all.

  • "Advice is a dangerous gift. Even from the wise to the wise, all courses may run ill."

    -Gandalf the Grey (FOTR;LOTR)

That quote came to me as you were talking. Great video Kade :)

  • the buda of the week!! ;D
