I've been wearing my Dr. Martens 8053 black almost everyday for work since 2005. They still have tons of life in them, and are beyond comfortable even after all these years.
The key is using the DM bees wax cream on them to keep the leather soft.

I love my UK made 1460 doc martens. I thought I knew how much work went in but hot damn it surprises me every time.
