Wow, the memories. Rushing home from school, and making me a snack. Just to go crashing in front of the TV, until the evening news came on (5 p.m.). Tiny Toons followed by The Animaniacs, then Disney's Gargoyles. Those were when cartoons were good. Now days, they all just about look like Japanese Manga.
@thegamersguide555 there's nothing wrong with mindless entertainment as long as it's you know fucking entertaining shows like Ren and Stimpy were totaly chaotic but they were fun to watch but shit like Fanboy and Chum Chum that's just jingling your keys in front of kids for 25 minutes
is it just me or does Batman come up a lot in WB cartoons? they always have it somewhere inconspicious in Animaniacs ... like in a portrait in the background or on a coffee mug ... what's with Batman?! :/
@thaempress06 Because the "jury" were cariactures (sp) of the Tiny Toons writing staff, animators and directors. Conan O'Brian, a contributor to the show, is one of the ones sitting in front.
@RavynMadisonandYami I think they were being ironic b/c ppl assumed it was a dead pet in the shoebox but it's really a shoe lol. I never paid any attention to that thanks for pointing it out, it made the clip even funnier.
Picture this premiering in today's society. With as sensitive as people are today, I can see complaints about how the guy woke up in the middle of his surgery to find people singing and dancing. "I hope he sued those doctors for medical malpractice!"
@TwistedSister09 Actually Tiny Toons was a very successful show and it ran for many years. In fact ask any kid from the 90's what shows they'd watch after school and this would be one of the top answers. And unlike shows to day Tiny Toons was mindless dripple afraid to poke a little fun at stuff just because it's not "PC".
@MSonnyday Well to put it simply, she's going around singing a song that calls for respect but she's not respecting the people around her. In my opinion the lesson would be to practice what you preach.
@Joey617 If only cartoons today taught our kids to run rampant through libraries, court rooms, cemeteries, and operating rooms while crying for respect like this cartoon does. We'd all be better off.
@WasteStar I don't think it's just familiarizing kids with music. The animators could have done that a ton of different ways. This clip clearly has a lesson and a moral that's being portrayed.
awesome!

Man, the animation in this one is simply ace.
We don't get cartoons like this often simply because the budget for TTA was ludicrous.
