There's no such thing as a perfect digital camera. Every one on the market has it share of complaints. Either the pictures are grainy, the video sucks, the sound is weird, or the thing stops functioning correctly... they all do it. Every one listed on Amazon will have those complaints.

I could have sworn my camera took better video when I first got it than it does now.

That sucks..my Kodak [the same HD one as yours] works fine..hmm this is very interersting. Must be a error within that camera, but the Sony Cybershot? Niice! And the quality & zoom looks fine from the video, hopefully it stays that way. You have a very nice laptop btw Meister.

hey boog congrats on the new cam looks amazing ..you said it shoots in 720 ..why did the box say 1080 on then or was that just saying via a hdmi cable it will play back on a 1080 p tv

@khaos2005 have no idea, all I know is it shoots in 720p & VGA. I don't really care about 1080p, i see no difference between 720p & 1080p.
