First of all it's 1968. Who made music like this? You measure the greatness of a band by the influence it has on modern music at the time. Very few have the opportunity to witness greatness in the making. I'd give almost anything to trade places with one of those audience members. I thank god for video and YouTube.
I love these live Danish recordings for a number of reasons including the fact that these are some of the only videos on the planet were each band member gets a reasonable share of screen time, I love Page and Plant but I want to see more Bonham and John Paul Jones, JPJ practically dissolves away in their later concert recordings.
I don't blame the audience for their tepid behavior, If I was 15, had never heard Zeppelin, and sat ten feet away from Bonzo beating the shit out of his drums, i'd be pretty petrified.
Even if this song was supposedly copied, Zeppelin breathed life into it and made it theirs. This performance shows that. You can feel the pure energy in the song and it's just incredible. Thanks you so much.
This is my second favorite performance of Dazed and Confused, with the first being the 1973 Madison Sqaure Garden performance. It's almost as if there are two vocalists with the way Jimmy speaks through is guitar.
Led Zeppelin's BBC sessions, if you don't have it get it. Your mind will be blown. 2 of the most amazing Dazed and Confused versions, plus the best version of Thank You, and a Whole Lotta Love that starts great but gets better and never ends.
OMG HES FUCKING HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Millions watch Rhianna and Maria Carey, yet only a couple of thousand watch Zep. Where's the justice in this world?

@francogothica1993 I agree. The problem is that Page falsely gave himself the writing credit for it.
