I don't understand why Hollywood keeps remaking classics. Yes, it's easy to remake scifi films because special effects have come a long way, but the original was more focused on story, characters, and satire than visuals. In the remake, they twisted the story and used high-budget CGI to make it look impressive. Problem is, people who saw the remake first may not want to see the original because it looks "old school." All I have to say is they're missing out on one of the best movies ever made.

Maybe, if you go back far enough in time, you end in the present. Or maybe time diverges into as many dimensions as are needed for potential combinations of events to occur. So he travels back, through the present, to the remote past, to an alternative dimension of time in which the apes have take charge. So he finds an ape version of US history, running parallel to the "real" one - & all as a result of his original misadventure with the time-warp.

Im not saying we're all apes, but if we put ourselves as the ape kind in the story, then we were all made by someone far intelligent than us, like the modern guy in space craft. And he's coming to see us all again. Who knows what he or they will do when they come, but for sure we will all look up to them for their greatness.
