I just wish Silje could enjoy the same success all over the world as Norah Jones and Katie Melua already did. Some of her albums have already been released in most of the world (including Asia, Brazil, Germany, Portugal, Australia with more), but I don't think she's been a huge commercial success, at least not to the degree of Norah Jones, yet. Although I think Norah doesn't even reach Silje to her knees, neither in voice and musicality nor in composing teardroppingly beautiful songs... :O)

This is my favourite song of all time I think! Seriously! =O) At least in the category quiet/healing/love songs. :) I absolutely adore the entire work of Silje Nergaard, she's in a class of her own and is always an integrate part of all her music. But then again she composes most of her music herself, including this absolutely breath-taking song, which one a very prestigious award in the USA as Best contemporary composition of the year, or something like that! >O)

I agree with you.I believe that if she had a bit of publicity she would be as famous as norah jones and as famous as Diana krall.She has an amazing voice.there are some of her records being sold here in portugal, but they are difficult to find and people don't know who she is.
