  • @SCOTLAND685

Well done for removing your comment. You were wrong anyway.

  • The technical difficulties of 2007

  • Why the fuck would anybody record this?

  • Just watched the video again after a couple of years and then had the thought that in where I live (Finland) when something goes wrong they just put a random ''HETKINEN'' screen in there and music until the problem is fixed. No apologies or anything like that

  • If Hell's Kitchen did have a technical issue on FOX (network that broadcasts the American version) -- it wouldn't be half as peaceful as this one.

  • It's rare to see any more technical issues here in America on TV, but the ones you can find on ITV on YoutTube from only a few years back are a dime a dozen!

  • @DanZero77

Why is that? Why are faults less common in America?

  • @jeffrey44 The last issue I saw with a major network was with FOX during The Simpsons in the late 90s. I'm sure there might have been a few more issues -- but I have been watching the ITV ones closely and a lot of them are due to power failure issues. Perhaps that could be it? Maybe the backup power equipment has improved now.

  • @jeffrey44 Because muslims run Britain now.

  • @stargroove4 Interesting theory.

  • I REMEMBER THIS!!! :-)

  • The sound of the host's voice killed ITV for 10 minutes. :D

  • Man, this is like getting put on hold by your television.

  • I have this on video it screwed up brilliantly perfect timing, Thank You ITV

  • LOL WE KNOW YOUR SORRY

  • LOL.. at 4:15.. she sounds soo pissed off :P!

  • It got that bad, the sound also went out of sync when they got back to programming!

  • @ianshillabeer

Well, that's more down to the terrible capture software I was using at the time to be fair.

  • "We're sorry for the loss of quality here on ITV1 but we're not going to bother to work on it"

  • @tpirrules19a Yeah! I saw this and I was thinking 'HOW MUCH IS THIS STUPID WOMAN BEING PAID TO SAY IT!'

  • I love the music. In the 2nd apologise, she almost made a mistake in the word "programme"... :)

  • @tiagofp1 I Know I Heard It. It is So Funny.

  • Was this live?

  • The announcer on the breakdown image (who tells you about the program going down.) sounds like someone in an aircraft cabin crew. o_o

  • I've only saw Channel 4 break down, and Fox Kids not show due to late night. R.I.P. Fox Kids and Sonic X... Anyway, thanks for the video. :P

  • Does anyone have the videos of the actual episodes of Hell's Kitchen UK series 3 with Paul Young? I would love to see series 3. Can you post them? Would be forever greatful!!

  • At least put some Ads on, just looking at the logo w/ music is BORING

    just look at C4

  • That makes sense. I don't know what I was thinking.

  • On YouTube you mean?

  • Actually, that's by far the most I've ever been entertained by hell's kitchen.

  • lol 7 mins long screw up. I wonder if they do rock, paper, scissors or something to see who's the one that has to tell everyone about the trouble. XD

  • @Tozzywozzy01 theres standby ppl dumb fuck

  • @timothyrawlinsontube Oh well i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry i don't work for a television station. ¬_¬ Get a sense of humour.

  • @Tozzywozzy01 I dont either. Fuck head.

  • lol

    welco..*cuts to black screen*

  • We're sorry but chef Ramsey's gone mad. We are trying our best to solve this issue.

  • Chef Ramsey is a character played by Gordon Ramsey on American television. This is the UK version of Hell's Kitchen and this series did not feature Gordon Ramsey at all.

  • FAIL

    XD

  • HILLARIOUS!!

  • Haha @ 0:45 , we'll go back to the proble--- the programme...

  • @hulk239239 i was scarred of em

  • are you scarred of em now????

  • Haha I just feel like saying STOP F***ING APOLOGISING! :P

  • haha ITV at thier best!

  • HELL'S KITCHEN FAIL.

  • I could have sworn I have heard this music on ITV Nightscreen.

  • I remember this, I was in a hotel room watching it then all of a sudden this came on.I remember one time something similar happened a few years ago on cartoon network,it was deliberate though,It was for rememberence day,the screen went black the an ident with writing on it saying something along the lines of,"the 1 minute silence is happening and we want to look important",it creeped me out like most of these things, one question,Did you edit the music over the ident or was it already there?

  • I haven't edited the video. The music is what ITV 1 used at the time. The company who owns the copyright to the music contacted YouTube and thats why there are adverts during and surrounding this video.

  • i saw that cartoon network thing. i thought that cartoon network got taken over

  • Why were you in a hotel room for?

  • Oh i was at a wedding party but i got bored,it was a bit crap lol!

  • They should have shoved a tic tacs ad on

  • Comment removed

  • Lol, and then we'd miss the best bit of cooking in the whole show or something.

  • I don't really understand this question. Try asking it again in English.

  • U are right. Apology, apology, apology, and one time apology.

  • What are you talking about?

  • That women apologises all the time. Apology, u see.

  • Okay. Now I understand. Thank you for your prompt reply.

  • U are welcome, man.

  • Welco-

  • I remember this clearly, as I watched nearly every episode of Hells Kitchen that year.

  • LOL! I remember this happening xD Me and my family sat there waiting for it to come back on xD Made us laugh :P

  • At least there's a nice sultry voice to comfort the viewers while the trouble is being sorted out.

  • nice background music

  • neato!

  • I remember this,

  • Remmber this-peed me right off-was looking forward to Hell's Kitcheh if i was right. But as a media student im kinda glad now I saw it as things lke this-belive it or not help.

Well thats a bit of useless knowdeldge about what i do....

  • It's funny how they always have someone on hand as well. Like it's deliberate!

  • hey lady! stop apologizing! everyones aware of the problem! DUH! (im actually speaking to the announcer!)

  • because ppl now adays have short atention span a stationary screen would push most the country into confusion... thanks to itv anouser it was averted..... ahahahahaha

  • Talk about 30 million sorrys!

  • i bet someone spilled a drink they yanked out the circuits

  • what caused the technical problem?

  • one of the shows main broadcasting computers crashed

  • ive been expecting a reason why there was a problem. thanks so much!

  • i only knew this cos i work part time at itv

  • We wanted to see Brian Dowling now famous for stealing cash of idiots at night get insulted by Jim Davidson yet ITV insist on using the Ident card to escape Ofcom fines.

  • this was also a time delay if u watch very carefully at the lips and u can see the was a delay because of the fault.

  • At least they put a woman on with a sexy voice and some great Mall music too, whats ur fkn problem? LOL

  • I want this show to come back againnn with celebs

  • it's coming back very soon i heard in september or october

  • These sort of breakdowns rarely happen in Australia, at least these days anyway, and when they do, it's usually only for about 2 minutes maximum.

  • remember i think it was the 7 breakdown with blue heelers

  • Another ITV classic breakdown moment.

What do they do when a fault appears stick a ITV ident on lol. The channel of Fuck ups she should say lol.

"This is ITV1 and the kings of fucking up"

"If we are not stealing you of you money then count your self lucky"

  • I hate it when this happens on TV! Its really creepy in an odd way. Probably because I hae a phobia associated with computers or techy stuff going wrong etc.

That music was so creepy its like a screamer will suddenly pop out and go RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

    :P

  • i sort of that fear as well. :P

  • Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I still love it though lol

  • Yeah same!! But gotta love it though.

  • Same =) ... as long as I'm not alone!

  • *creeps out a bit* does the same to me too... especially when it happened on Cartoon Network / Nicklodeon....

  • same here man. fucking terrifying

  • Indeed

  • awesome guy is awesome

  • i work for itv in west this error keep going on

  • ure right she gets more angry. u think shes gunna start swearin. were sorry but some twats lost the program

  • lmao

  • She sounds more and more frustrated every time :P

    Anyone know the song?

  • I like how you hear a click and some random keyboard hitting sounds in the background whenever she speaks :P

  • Seeing this really pisses me off! You just get a picture of... whatever that is that is in the logo there, but 10 years previous, I would have seen the granada logo, others meridian, anglia, central, etc. Possibly even the generic 1989 logo, which still looked better than chavtvs logo today.

  • That CA has no personality whatsoever, typical ITV

  • like the music Ive recorded it through my microhpone and edited it on Audacity

  • I remember when this was shown. I wasn't recording at the time, but I wanted to copy the video to watch again in the future, so I had to grab the nearest thing to hand... my MacBook. I held it in front of the TV for an impossible amount of time. My hand was nearly dropping off at the end of it...

    Thanks for the video though!

  • You could try and find a stack of books put into a nice, even pile, a pile even enough to set the MacBook on and also nicely stacked so that it won't fall over.

I wish I had a MacBook, by the way. I miss my 1988 Apple Macintosh 512k my mom bought for me off of eBay. It died from a blown fuse.

  • I'm sorry to hear about the Apple dying...

  • Lemme tell ya, it was an unexpected fuse failure. And this was on February of 2006 (or 2007... can't really remember, but I do have a pic of the last day of my Mac's life posted on both my MySpace and my Stickam profiles).

  • You can always repair it if you have a spare fuse. I once fixed a plug for my pc by taking the fuse from my TV and putting it in the pc plug. It worked.

  • Well, what with lack of money and other necessities to find, and also lack of proper tools, which also possibly cost a lot of money altogether, we had to throw the Macintosh itself out and donate the peripherals to charity.

Very nice advice, though -- don't get me wrong. I really do appreciate it. But even after technology class from a long time ago (6th grade), I still don't have much technological expertise, repair-wise.

  • can anyone please post the argumnt between jim and brian please i need it im doing a media project on it thankyou

  • ye suppose ur right :)

  • What would be left if I skipped the 'technical bit'?

  • Dude, the technical bit is a prime example of the existence of problems with technology, even today's technology.

But I feel real sorry for the British. I hate tech faults as much as the Brits do, and that is a lot. Neat music used here, however, and very inspiring too.
