This is not true since no book of the bible was “recent” since John’s Revelation which was only a couple hundred years since Jesus’ death. Not a couple thousand like you are insinuating. Plus the dead sea scrolls they found was almost exact replica of what we already had. So nothing was changes since the originals.

Yes this is true since some words in Hebrew does not exist in English, so far and so forth. That is why we have a Concordance where we can get the meaning of the Hebrew word and thus actually know what they meant by the word and use the word that best describes it.

As a very strong Christian I don't frown upon games such as Darksiders, I actually enjoy it, I like the nice deviation of the storyline from actual events of the bible. It is after all entertainment. When a game forces me to give up my beliefs ( I have yet to see a game that does this) then I will walk away from it. But seeing as how no game can control my mind, games are but entertainment only. Christians who legally attempt to change things are not right in their doing. God will change things.

@Fille3133 Yeah I did not claim that every written thing is truth. But we can determine what is truth when you dissect what you are reading. If you have a book that says WW2 took place in 1910, we can look in history and use witnesses (if any), evidence, etc. You can't just take the books word for it. Same with the bible, it claims a lot, most of it can be traced to facts, historical, etc. some are based on faith, this is part of it.

why are ppl bringing in religion? All religions are myths, not actual facts. It has been proven that all religions just copy each others stories and change just enough to make them sound like their own. For example, Christians make jesus, who has the same background story as osiris from the Egyptians....both born from virgins, both heal a man from the dead, but Osiris was born 600 yrs before Jesus was...so who is the real one savior? And Osiris wasn't kind of the underworld, he was the good king of the netherworld. Plus, like all myths (including the bible) there are different ways this story is told, and yes, there are different versions of the bible, Venerable Bede, Alfred, King James, etc.

@Jizzinthis Where is your proof of Socrates, Aristotle, Plato, etc.? Proof of writings you find in the ground? All versions of the bible share the same story unlike myths the different versions are so completely different. Those versions you mentioned are but translation differences, for example if it says "Jesus went to Nazareth" in one translation it does not say "Jesus rocked all the way to the moon on his psychadelic car! oh ye rock on" big difference. Read the bible for once.

The bible has changed, considering it was first written in the "holy" language of Hebrew, and then translated throughout the world later. And if you know, nothing can be translated perfectly, no matter how long you spend at it. Also some parts of the bible was added later (the new testament, for one). Yes there was a man name Jesus, im not denying that, but im denying anything that "people" say about him.

@Fille3133 Yeah I did not claim that every written thing is truth. But we can determine what is truth when you dissect what you are reading. If you have a book that says WW2 took place in 1910, we can look in history and use witnesses (if any), evidence, etc. You can't just take the books word for it. Same with the bible, it claims a lot, most of it can be traced to facts, historical, etc. some are based on faith, this is part of it.
