4. Atari didn't compare "Bug Hunt" to "Duck Hunt," probably because "Duck Hunt" looks and plays BETTER.
this was my first system.ever had i remember i had it for xmas 1987.and since my oldest brother had atari 2600.i could say look i have something better!!
That was a stupid of Atari to make another 8-bit game system right along side the 7800. Those XE games were old and tired comapred to NES games. If they really wanted to compete with Nintendo,they should've made a game system out of the 16-bit ST computer line.
Zelda and Mario can't compete with most of the shovelware on this system.

Mario alone beats every game on the XE. Obviously at this point, Atari did not learn anything from the VG crash.

A few of problems with this commercial.
1. Nintendo kept it simple. Atari pitched complexity.

That has to be the laggiest flight sim I have ever seen.

though... it did fake 3D pretty impressively (especially in the lucas arts games...)
but the sound was awful in most games
