@toriano - I agree with you - fun memory. But as you may or may not know, this was a classy attempt to reach the black audience. Television still was racist back then, so that is why you didn't see more animations with blacks in it. One prominent was was Bill Cosby's first Fat Albert Cartoon - a rarely shown surrealistic animation.
