Sound choice is spectacular - and your concept is awe-inspiring. =O
Was just looking for apocalyptic footage for a project when I stumbled upon your works - several of em lightbulbs popped over my head when I took a look at this =D
Gah - it's a bummer when you've got good ideas and absolutely NO tech to help sculpt them out huh. =\
yeah that was a fuck up, haha. i did all this in about a night, it was a high-pressure project. i need to go back and clean it up. glad you noticed that, though. it's good to see someone who gazes into the little details like that.
Two times loveley, overnight working, the best hour to do almost anything is between 1o pm and 5 am... Those little details like some dirt dripping i'd like to see in the window, but wait.... that was a year ago, so, I will search for more recent works (thumbs up)
it was part of the raw video, unfortunately. it's real hard to work with the lens distortion when zooming and such is involved. motion tracking was hell.
of course i was being careless and wasn't thinking about that when i got the footage. haha. thanks for the comment.
I guess the whole reason is that skyscrapers are some of humanity's greatest accomplishments, and things like this reveal how weak they can be. All it takes is a bomb, or a plane to destroy them. Maybe that isn't weak, but there's a lot of planes and bombs out there now, so it just seems like that.
yeah, compressor works pretty good, but for my youtube i rarely bother. i dunno.
my computer chokes on this stuff too. i'm running a three-year old frankenbox that's basically an amalgamation of cannibalized parts from my previous computers. i really need to look into getting a new one.

wow really nice. Most after effect vids I see are just photos. Was the 'zoom out'-part of the raw video, or an effect?

It's disturbing to see giant skyscrapers so torn up.
ZukaROBLOX 3 years ago
yeah, it kinda is.
but at the same time, destroyed buildings can be somehow pretty.
at least when taken objectively.

Nice man, Compressor can handle all your compression needs, tho I use divx for speed sometimes. I'm on a slow G4 PB.
