this is one of my favorite songs on this concert, but on the cd (brian setzer orchestra the ultimate collection) right before the sax solos THEY CUT THEM!!! has this happened to anyone who has the disk?
I live in Clarion County PA and just want everyone to know Dr. Ron Paul did not drop out of the presidential race for 2008.
Please click on my name to learn about Dr. Ron Paul born in Pittsburgh and a ten year TX congressman. He's Against the war and policing the world with US troops paid by your tax dollar. Put an end to BIG government. Dr. Paul stands for the US constitution, Liberty and protecting all your freedoms.
Hello fellow Rockabilly! Surely your foot was taping along to this vid? Isnt it all about pumping rhythm, slap bass, hard hitting drums, knock-out guitar and vocals..? Its all connected.. Blues, Rhythm, Swing, Rockabilly, Rock n' Roll... Its all good!
Don't blame him for being smart and milking the philistine tastes of the Japanese who pay good money for Western acts. But, he could have stayed true to his rockabilly roots. Come on deuce, this is Glenn Miller territory...
"Its all connected." Sure is! As of 1945-1946, somebody was doing just about everything heard here: e.g. T-Bone Walker and Merle Travis were playing hot electric guitar, the Miller band was still together and in the same style even though he'd died, Lionel Hampton and Buddy Johnson were already doing the huge backbeats, I. Jacquet was squealing...
@32deuce I beg to differ Deuce; I think the different genres 'evolved' but they don't work well together. It's a badly scrambled egg. There's nothing more incongruous than a tattooed grungy rockabilly Setzer in front of a clean wholesome-esque mom and apple pie Miller-style 'Big Band'. Commercial sell out of the worst kind.
@BoomShackerLacker IT'S JUMP BLUES MAN, VERY MUCH CONNETED AND AN INSPIRATION TO A LOT OF ROCKABILLY (JUMP BLUES CAME FIRST). IF YOU LISTEN TO A LOT OF BRIAN'S ROCKABILLY SOLOS AND RHYTHMS, THEY'RE ALL MARINATED WITH A LITTLE OR SOMETIMES A LOT OF JUMP BLUES. IT ALL GOES TOGETHER, IT'S GOOD TIMES MUSIC.
La peor versión que he oído en mi vida. No tiene nada que ver con el original. Directamente, se la ha cargado.
