To get this, do you have to complete the game? I was going to load a cleared file from the first one and go into the mode that allows this. Also, was just woundering, if you do have to complete the game, does it matter if it is the 'true' end or not?

So would it be better for someone new to the series to get Agarest Zero, since it's an entire game plus the main chunck of the other?

the only benefit you get for getting Agarest 1 before Zero would be that

A: Old Save Bonus

B: You get to play Door to Tomorrow on your first playthrough instead of finishing the game and doing a New Game Plus

even though i noticed some changes now^^ (i played the 1st agarest a couple weeks ago)

btw to unlock the true ending, is there anything special to do like the turn count in agarest 1 ?cause im scared of grinding in bad times xDD

There is no turn count requirement in Zero. The only thing that determines the Normal and True ending (from what people told me) is all the affections of the ladies. If everyone is 4 our higher (preferably maxed at 6), you will get the True End.

Having anyone at 4 or lower (preferably 3 or lower for guarantee) Normal End.
