i saw them in 81 with Geddy Lee (not playing...he was with me incognito) and Geddy said, "wow, put some round sunglasses on him and a geeky shirt and he looks like me" and Ged was a bigger star back then than Klaus..so it was very self depricating of the Gedster to say so.

Meine Klaus had been inderviwed once near 2008 and he said"We just played in London and in Paris and there were young kids rocking out to songs that were written way before they were born. It is amazing." i think that scorpions are more than a music band and just rock.they are LEGENDS

Matthias Jabs is the best guitarist and showman in the business. This band had perfect chemistry and tons of energy on stage. You can tell in all their videos that they are having fun together and it's more than just a business. Great bunch of guys. Scorps forever!

Ive heard the Scorpions prior to MJ and after MJ joined....two totally different bands and sounds. Jabs brought the heat....Uli Roth and M. Schenker couldnt stay sober long enough to contribute anything to the band. Jabs will kick your ass High Minded!

Do you really think the Scorpions would have had the same level of success with any of the aforementioned guitarists you mentioned? They had their own style that worked for their own bands....never would have fit in with R. Schenker and the Scorpions. Matthias was a classically trained musician, and R. Rhoades was learning to be a classically trained musician...none of the others on the list you mentioned were classically trained.

Why do you think that? I have played guitar for 15 years and it sure looks like and sounds like it is live to me. If it were pre-recorded why would they add mistakes and blatant off-key solo.
