did you ever see "The Quiet room"? its very interesting, not about SM though, its about a girl that didnt think her parents deserved to be talked to, then she kinda got "addicted" to not talking to anyone but her frieds, it was sad, but had a kinda happy ending!
I know exactly how Haley feels. You are an amazing family. To be so patient and to listen to what she does say. Its the most important thing to me.. that when I do say something, that someone listens. Stay strong baby girl. And remeber, Actions speak louder then words. And we are living proof of that.

Oh Boy - your video made me cry - my daughter also has selective mutism, she is 6 and looks just like Haley. The peom was so right, so perfect. Good luck I hope Haley finds her voice. - she has made great steps - my daughter is at the beginning of the up hill climb, she won't speak to her friends at all - and they do laugh at her for that - it breaks my heart. Thank you for sharing.
